I only used launch control once back in 15 when I got my 2SS NEW, cars with HUD LIKE mine will show you little arrows they are green and get orange when it’s time to shift, when you hit the sweet spot the light will indicate again if you shift to soon or late it will not indicate. Most people don’t know that. Nice bro

I looked into this they give some target ranges for 6th gen and do confirm its in 5th gen SS this from their engineer team at GM. So what's the sweet spot you're hitting in your shifts where you clutch in to shift?

Break an axle or damage diff...bmr has a few things to help wheel hop. The trailing arms and toe rods help a lot

Just bought 2015 2SS special edition with SPI where is the 1-4 shift light manual states. It says when the shift light is on it can only be shifted from 1st to 4th gear. It has nothing to do with this video and my car does have the competitive mode and launch control but where is the shift light for 1st to 4th?

its a display prompt where your spedo shows on the dash. i know this is 2 years ago but for the new people that get this the indacator will randomly show up i haste it so i bought a skip shift elimnator for 15bucks

yeah i seen that too, i have a 13 1LE and my car was not made with the NLS and i dont think im going to try it to find out either😂 i heard you can program it to the car but i wouldn’t try it otherwise.

Hold the clutch down floor the gas let it settle at its rpm and let it rip... but if ur bolt on tuned or anything other then factory be prepared for something to possibly break.. if anything talk to your tuner about the torque management setting so that u don't break anything

I shift at 7k rpms in my 2010 ss and nls is crazy too. Need better suspension axles etc for more abuse like that.

That wouldn't make any sense because the automatics don't have a clutch pedal. The transmission shifts on its own. You can launch an automatic but lifting off the throttle when racing in an automatic is just pointless. The only other pedal for control is the brake pedal and that isn't making you go faster.

It's been confirmed in the forums multiple gm mechanics that the feature has been in these cats since the 5thgens it was just never discussed but not here to make people believe me maybe my car just came with it when I bought it I'm not the first owner of this car and been told it acts like a factory freak by multiple I have raced

Phantom don’t do it. Only the zl1 has the NO LIFT SHIFT feature. If he said he has to “fairy foot it “ he lifted.

infamous 2ss yea it’s called power shifting. It ain’t NLS. the car doesn’t cut timing so u can shift try it an notice how your rpms will skyrocket.
