I have another way my teacher teaches Let’s say we use example one 1) 5(d-7) =20 5d -35 =20 (multiply because there’s brackets) 5d=20+35 5d= 55 D=11

ok i got u so like @thatgirlkaye_ lets take example one 1) 5(d-7)=20 so what you do first is distrubute 5 to both numbers in parenthesis now u have 5d-35=20 second u add 35 to 5d and 20 because u want the 5d without the 35 now its 5d=55 finally u divide five to 55 and 5d cuz we now want d by itself d= 11 hopes this help and keep learning
