5x5 Blueprint with No Mods in Satisfactory

I found it amusing that when you could put the exterior decorations outside the normal 4x4 grid you felt like you had so much more space. I guess that 1-2m around the edges added up.

This isn't a feature, the box clearly outlines the intended user area and as such condemns any object actively crosding its borders. That said though, this is definately an exploit I will be trying out for myself. The problem with exploits, as beautifully worded by the developpers, is that players will optimize the fun out of their own game if left unchecked. THIS exploit however is in my opinion the opposite of that as the 4x4 grid often feels way to constrictive. If coffee stain ever gives in to demands, I feel they will patch this exploit out but in return scale up the printer somewhat, or make a MK2 version to be unlocked. In all honesty though? I suspect they will simply ignore its existance and just applaud to those willing to "think outside the box". Who knows, might even become the name of a steam achievement once 1.0 finnaly arrives.

Optimizing fun out of a game is my favorite quote ever since my Path of Exile days xD To patch out this exploit out they need to work with way more than collision hitbox of designer itself. Things like conveyor lift holes just do not register properly aside the upmost in and out. So it is more than designer itself! After making hundreds of blueprints I think that 4x4 is just to limiting and 5x5 would have been way better call for vanilla. Although I still have tons of fun with 4x4.

@@Yakez42 Agreed. And I made a first blue print using the exploit. Its a (very simplistic) seven foundstions long print for a 12belt bus on 4x3 stackable conveyors. 7 foundations is the max belt length so I can now clap down a beltbus way faster :D

Blueprints... How much is inside this word. I broke with factory games for a month or two. And i come back yesterday to the factorio. Before I stopped playing I prepared some blueprints so when I came back I didn't start work on the project from the beginning. Most of the preposition been done at that point and when I realised how close I was I changed my mind about blueprints. Then I realised that I did not though about transplanetary logistics and that was a reason why I broke. Do this thing allow you to extend your blueprint infinitely? Like bagged blueprint inside bagged blueprint?

Yep you can stack these blueprints... But it is a fiddly at best.

Nope, last time I hear from Snoot about blueprints several weeks ago, it was more about "we are thinking about bigger designer, but we like when people do modular blueprints".
