Im at 370k on my 97 obs 7.3. runs like a champ and just keeps doing what its supposed to. Ive only had it for like a month but it will be my daily soon. Selling my old r50 pathfinder and ill be cruising this tank when my pathfinder has gone to a new home.

@@theccwdad heck yeah. Are you sure it’s 370? Some of those don’t have a 4 programmed into the odometer and once they hit 400k they start at 300k again.

@@WreckingBall541 it's entirely possible tbh. The interior and paint say the first owner was terrific and the second owners used the living shit out of it 😂. And they definitely were creative to be nice with some of their repairs. I've been a tech since 08 mostly at Acura then Toyota for about 8 years but Im still surprised how some people decide to "fix" their vehicles. I they put a super duty rear end with a different hub pattern and then drilled out the wheels to fit the new hub size. Never hooked up the parking brake etc etc etc. everything they touched they made worse 😂

thanks for sharing. I am using a 2005 F550 6.0 and now has 304,000. runs good and strong. it does have head studs and a few upgrades take care

I’m getting close. Think less than 100 miles I’ll be right there. Bought the pickup off my boss for a personal rig. More power than my last 7.3 and couldn’t beat the 3500 dollar price we settled on.

I got an 04 6.0 with the zf6 with 178k I’ve only deleted the egr, aluminum radiator and straight pipe

We run two of em my dads has 150k but needed tons of work under warranty oil cooler egr cooler, one head 6 injectors, after warranty I deleted it put a upgraded cooler no issues since, mine is fully built new heads needs an injector and blew a few iprs, but never an auto trans issue there strong as hell aswell, but we you'll all other trucks that's for sure

That 5.9 cummins is the best motor thier as far as maintenance and I drive a 6.0 that i made reliable 🤣

Why we hear the injectors working before starting?

I believe it’s to prime the system. I know if ficm fails and you don’t hear the clicking it won’t start.

It's called a buzz test, it's essentially a systems check.
