@@johnpatterson3598 I’m actually going down to cjc tomorrow to now get all new dominator shocks but 4.5” lift this time…and yes i did and it is normal for the wheel to be pushed forward…they do that on purpose so that when the axle cycles upwards it will clear and not hit your fenders anywhere. I have the full spring pack in the back. I finally measure my rake and there is a 2.5” difference front to back. This is what I’m wondering as well. It appears the leaf swap moved the tires/wheels up in the rear fender wells. If that’s the case for them all, then I’ll just opt for their stock full progressive leafs because I want a 2.5” level with 37’s, so I know they’ll hit 😅
@johnpatterson49012 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the video. It appears that the rear tires & wheels were moved forward after the leaf spring swap & they don’t look to be centered in the rear wheel well. Is this true?
@CJCOffRoad2 жыл бұрын
It's likely just something with the angle of the video. Keep in mind though that the axle moves forward under droop and rearward under compression on these trucks as the leaf springs cycle, so it's normal to see it vary depending on the position of the suspension.

I have an ‘06 F250 myself that has a 2” leveling puck kit on the front and 35” tires. The rear has stock F350 springs (being it has the slide in camper package) but only the 2” block (for the standard 250) instead of the 4” block (for the 350). With the system on the truck in this video, do you have any idea what the measurement is to the bottom of the door or sill plate? I’m trying to compare the difference between the two because I would LOVE to put the 4.5” Pintop on my truck, but my wife has a bad back and she may have a difficulty getting in. I may have to stick with the 2.5” system. I do, though, plan to install the Amp Research XL Powersteps to help her either way….thanks in advance for any information you may be able to provide me.

Sadly we don't have that measurement on hand, but with XL power steps it's a very manageable height.

Just wanted to say congratulations on these east coast KZbinrs catching on that they need to stop using those worthless lift kits and pucks they use in there builds. I've told them on every Ford or Ram build that they need to put a Carli suspension on instead of the junk they been doing. Not saying it was me that made them to start using Carli but I always comment on their builds would be so much better if they would put a Carli suspension on. I just seen GREG_ALBERALLA putting Carli on his Ram 3500 dually and I was so stoked to see that. I know DURTYMAX JACK finally did a giveaway Ram that he put a Carli suspension on. Now StreetSpeed 707 if he does another Ram build needs to put Carli on it. He likes jumping everything and I know he would be blown away how a Carli suspension handles a jump. Now we need to get those east coast guy's to start putting real meats of wheels and tires on instead of those thin sliced bologna as wheels and tires. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Keep the excellent work up. The west coast knows there's no better than you guys and soon the east coast will know also.

Stock bottom end is good for nearly 1,000 hp at the crank. Automatic transmission good for 550 hp at the crank. Excellent manual option too. Best sounding Diesel engine by far. These trucks are $5-$20k used to get started. The heads, head bolts, water pump, oil cooler, FCIM, and EGR cooler all need to go. May need a turbo or injectors. Many of these had multiple short-term owners and were abused.
