TSM was up most of the game and they made really calm collected decisions in the end game. Not sure why people are simply calling it a C9 throw, cuz you can argue TSM threw to even let C9 get ahead after 30 minutes of gameplay.

I don't get the people criticizing C9 for the double TP into the base. Even Doublelift and LS both thought it was good at the moment, and they have caster vision. Sure with hindsight you can say what C9 should have done instead, but in the heat of the moment, these decisions are very difficult to make and teams shouldn't be blamed too hard for "throwing".

i think it wasnt a really bad call because they took POE and Huni out of the elder fight and they were stronger than perkz and fudge; i think the bigger problem was that zven and blaber got outplayed by lost and swordart (you could say blaber wasnt outplayed but zven was, he died so fast).

It just went to shit cause zven got caught and tsm responded well to the TPs. Literally if zven doesn't get 1shot while also doing no damage in return in the 2v2 at elder then C9 win that fight for free, and then they take elder and still win. They kinda just got outplayed in both of the end game 2v2s, one of which they had a 9 kill Olaf (who can immune CC vs a support Leona who was basically a CC bot). Swordart had the sick flash e to catch Zven and kill him instantly with Lost.

I don't understand how that's better than simply just getting elder, they won every single fight until that point, why not fight there and then get the easy close with elder buff. I get the first TP 'cause you force TSM to waste a tp and then you can get elder, but using both tps to try to force a win is just plain bad, specially with a inhibitor respawning and knowing TSM has their tps too. Double and LS said the same, they shouldn't have forced the win, so that's a lie.

I think that good players getting paid is great for the game. I think that it helps to bring up the value for the entire scene, and all the pros in it. However, WTF was C9 thinking when they paid Perks 11 million, highest in the league, to play MID! He has been an ADC for 19 of the last 23months. He was an ADC for the 6 months leading up to the transfer. Looking at him play, he seems to have no map awareness. This is usually fine on an ADC, because the support can cover, but it is a fatal flaw in a mid laner. They paid 11 million, in salary alone, to basically an unproven player, due to role swap. Either the C9 org were just all drunk when they made this call, or they didn't care about winning anymore. They might have just gotten Perks because of his name. I am not hating on Perks. When someone overpays you for your talent, you take that free load of cash. Like Ninja with Mixer. Anyone with half a braincell knew that Microsoft must have been on the good stuff for their marketing strategy, but Ninja obviously did the right thing. Granted, that signing single handedly killed a streaming platform, but still that is Microsoft's business not Ninja. As for Swordart, you win some you lose some. I think they were hoping for another CoreJJ. However, they forgot Core was a mechanical monster. On the other hand, I am guessing Swordart was the shotcaller in Sunning. So they got a shotcaller, a great one, but who does not speak the language. Maybe they thought pings will be enough to cover that, I don't know. Again, you win some, like with CoreJJ, and you lose some when you decide to sign an import shotcaller.
