I really love the fact that the last word that Taylor mentioned in this interview was "kindness' -to me kindness or "love" is the one indispensable constant of "good" music. There has to be a "gift" to the listener -otherwise, it's just a moment of exploitation (on behalf of the "artist") -and that won't endure. For myself, if I'm not giving a listener something -then I might as well be silent. Without wanting to sound trite: "Love" is the answer -it's at the heart of a successful song -or any work of "art"

Thats why I LOVE The Pretty Reckless, they are real, down to earth, nice / cool (good looking), and they FEEL the music! The most of the people nowdays don`t feel it anymore, they have just music running up and down and they like the sound but the cant feel it. I think its the same with (probably a lot) with the "artists". They let the voice just run through a computer and dont need this talent Taylor is talking about (in this and other interviews). I think thats one of the reasons why The Pretty Reckless is so important, special, and live saving for me. Its just because they are real.

I love them, have all their records and listen to all their albums..I grew up in the 90s & also listen to rock bands from the 60s and 70s. I miss that raw type of music, I'm so glad that it's what they make.. great interview & couldn't get enough I had to repeat it several times!! wish it was longer..thanks man, great job!! :)
