Simple and concise instructions. I will be needing to fix a tight crack this summer, hopefully this product is available in Canada. Cheers.

I used this to seal a 1/4 inch gap between two concrete walls. The contractor did a horrible job in connecting the walls. 100's of gallons of water would come in on a bad rain because it was feed by a spring. He would not stand up and fix it. I was sceptical but it worked great. Dry as a bone. The only thing I would of done differently is to be more liberal with the gray sealer around the ports. One came off but that was my fault. For walls that are structurally sound I would recommend this product

Does it prevent the crack from expanding???

Does this foam up after injecting? Mine does not seem to foaming after I injected it. I had other cracks fixed professionally and it foams. This seems to be just a glass like substance and is not expanding to a foam

This is an epoxy product. Epoxies do not foam.

I have not seen a horizontal crack repaired. Is there anything else that I should know for horizontal cracks?

Just start at one end and do everything the same. Thanks for asking.

Very informative, good tutorial, gives a diy person confidence in performing this. A couple of questions, I understood the exterior above grade crake treatment. Not sure I understand from grade down just leave it? Last question any advise on cleaning, trimming, finishing the final result to look better, more professional?
@aaronkuertz60125 жыл бұрын
I am not sure I understand your question about "grade down." You can scrape off the Poxy Paste and ports with a hammer and 5 in 1 tool/scraper

Aaron Kuertz I appreciate your reply, what I meant by below grade, was that, it looked like the crack was not repaired below grade level? If that is true and maybe I just got it wrong, does it not need to be addressed below the grade level?
@dlnsolutionsfoundationrepa84355 жыл бұрын
They say "above grade" as in, above your soil line. That is so the liquid will not just spill out of your crack to the outside. "Below Grade" or below soil level, should have enough pressure against the house to keep the liquid from just spilling out.

Which is better, proxy or cement sealers

it looks like this fills the crack better and by the science is harder than concrete but both probably similar from the look.

What if the cement inside the crack is damp? Epoxy or Polyurethane?
@aaronkuertz60129 ай бұрын
The inside of a foundation crack is nearly always damp

I just had this done yesterday. How do you remove the ports? Chisel and hammer?
@Applied13139 жыл бұрын
FlockOZombies Yes, that will remove the ports and paste.

Well I ordered mine had to purchase around 1200$ worth the product I wish they actually explained on these videos that if the Crack runs all the way to the bottom on the floor you should use the hydra stop first and then then 212. (Hydra stop only one tube) I learned the hard way. Plus the Crack I wanted to repair runs all the way through the other side which is buried in dirt....so I lost most of my product in the dirt. So anyone using this or any brand be aware of this

does this work against water permeating

This will stop water from coming through your crack
@dlnsolutionsfoundationrepa84355 жыл бұрын
You MUST create a system to keep the water away from your home and couple it with the crack repair. Either regrading, high potential to fail, or a french drain system.
