Brave of you to post your story like this. People out there are mean. The sensory processing issue has been the worst for me. I am 22 months off of a benzo and currently tapering seroquel. I removed the biggest stressors from my life and that helps me stay emotionally balanced. But that meant quitting my full time White collar job. But I have a van and I expect that's what I'll end up doing. Wandering aimlessly around the country in my van. I will need to figure out how to get income in a few months when the savings runs out as I redesign my life living non-drugged. But I'm confident I can figure it out. Thank you for sharing so much Angela!

I am so happy that you are back. I am 4 months off everything , including benzos. I was listening to your vlogs over and over again trying to fall asleep and it was saving my life. So now I have terrible sensitivity to chemicals and I noticed that chlorine in water and bleach are the worst. Don't shower in chlorine water (water filter would be ideal) , don't drink tap water , only drink bottled mineral water ( f*ji and evi*n are the best) and give it to the dog too. Drink your water with lemon , make your body and environment more acidic. Don't clean with bleach ( it's toxic) , clean instead with vinegar (it's safe for the dog) . We went nuts because of chemicals ( including vaccines) and overall we are animals not meant to live in tight spaces , polluted and chemical environments. In general I am doing okay , gardening always in headphones , going shopping and every time feeling like a weirdo and being confused while I am at the store( I accepted it) . I was paranoid , suspicious and angry and emotional when it was cold outside and the windows were closed. Now in spring windows are open and I am feeling much better however it is so hard to get used to my new life ...

I’m new to your channel and all I can say is wow. Your story is beyond inspirational. I’ve had a adverse reaction to 3 doses of lex-pro and I’m 7 months out. It has been hell to say the least. I have the stimulation issues (not quiet as severe) you talk about. Fear, cortisol spikes…. Love the 4am wake up calls 😵💫, anxiety, terrible headaches, repetitive/looping thoughts, sleep issues. I have seen some improvements but hell is still hell. I had over 40 symptoms after the first dose. It was like being on a acid trip and it only got worse after that. I keep trying to remind myself that I’m still in the thick of it and that things will get better but the fear of never healing from this takes over. I haven’t come across too many stories like mine so that makes it even more scary. Anyways, thank you for all your work in the community. You give us hope. Rip joe, I’m so sorry for your loss. And as always, thank you for your service! Praying for continued healing

There's a whole school of thought (that I'm sure you're aware of) that doesn't believe in operating on precancer or early cancer, which disturbs the cells--the thinking is that this risks metastasis. Maybe it makes sense. Yes the medical industry is horrible. Thank you for being so open about all the losses in your life! I feel similarly and it helps to know I'm not the only one. It wears on a person. I truly believe there's a midlife ethos for people that have been through so much crap, we become wiser in midlife but I also believe at least for me, I've lost some of my resilience because I am just so tired.
