The best way to improve is to do practice runs. Tyty and exile are insane resources for learning stuff but ultimately the more you do it the more comfortable and confident you are going to be to replicate that type of performance

Since this run compared to the cold dot run has around the same time. Isnt cold dot still better with all the freeze and chill happening from a defensive perspective? fire trap has the benefit of beeing thrown so keeping range is possible. but with all the speeding happening, you charge through packs either way. anyway thanks for showing these full runs... PS: kinda insane that the poison seismic run was 8h compared to these 7h runs. is there an rng component / did you simply get better speed running / or are these dot builds just superior?

re: time - im a lot better at doing this now than i used to be, including mitigating RNG. you get chill on this build anyway, cold doesn't freeze. i think cold dot could be better because the mapping is straight up faster if you can manage to get a vaal cold snap gem.

Is all about practice. U aren't a streamer and U don't want to spend 50/100 hours trying to do that because U don't need it. In lake of Kalandra I reached 4 hours and 30 min in a ssfhc run. How? Kalandra was so shit that I enjoyed campaign more than endgame and did like 1 run act 5 every 2-3 days and Improved a lot but I can't see me do it ever again. At the end it was not worth my time

@@jungyo8417 usually biggest issue for newer players besides just being slow with skill points and gear choices is killing to many monsters. At least for me my first few leagues I would kill way to much stuff in the campaign.

i played windowed mode as a habit from when i played pro league and was trying to copy all the korean gamers. 2:1 is comfy because i can see wider, but clicking edge of screen will register (edge of screen click doesn't work when full ultrawide)

Okay but the real question is where is the Aila RF trickster video. That was back when I had first started playing the game and I was obsessed with that build. It was so sketchy and pretty jank but damn it was fun to watch the master keep winning races with it. All jokes aside, I love Trickster so much, but I have literally played Cold dot so many times it makes me sick to ever even think about rolliing another one. Nice to see an alternative dot build seems to have some serious promise, and it's something I haven't really played before. Thanks for the video dude

Practice. I can teach you how to go sub 6 hours pretty easy. From 6 to 5 is just layout amd practice. From 5 to 4 is about maximize timing (inventory managment ) + good layouts readings

It honestly takes practice and eventually you get a feel for how maps are layed out. Biggest part honestly is prep work. Rather than plan your build as you go, you need to figure out everything before hand. Know when you get skill gems at certain levels, know which nodes to grab and in which order. A lot of time is spent just wasted looking at tabs and items and figuring out what to equip/sell/throw away. There are little techs that you can do to also speed up the time. Logging out to character selection and re logging puts you back in town. Its about as fast as portal scrolls, only difference is, is that it doesn't use a portal scroll and you cant go back. Saves you time from picking up scrolls. Make the most of portal scrolls by dropping them in front of a side area that you need to go back to, progress into the next zone and take the way point back to town, and then use the portal to go back to the side area you need to go to. Kite mobs and keep moving forward. They should be behind you as you run through zones. Ignore most rare mobs as they take too long to kill. Prioritize dense white and magic mobs. Know which npc's and quests give skill points. Plan out your routes and know where way points are. Combine way points with logging and go even faster Honestly theres SOOO much you can do to go faster, i'd recommend watching more speed runs and pay attention to what they actually do.

@@pigeon7777 What I didn't see mentioned is also maximising your damage output. Look at the top gamers and what skills they use + grab some damage nodes even if you will need to spec out of them later. For spells, get flat damage on wands/scepters ASAP (w/ recipes) and know when to swap out of flat into %spell damage, upgrade often with white > blue > rare ring recipes. For physical, continuously upgrade your weapons with the whetstone recipe and highest dmg bases. Also get a filter that is for your leveling specifically. I use tyty's. This was for me, honestly, how I shaved most of my time.

3:01:20 yeah dying in a softcore race is kinda mandatory if you wanna push it to the limit there's potentially 2+ death "skips" that save a tiny bit of time, but not really that important the main thing is you can have 5x more dps and clear speed and just rely on not getting hit even if you die it doesn't matter, you can clear so much faster
