Nice review of the strategy. Those come out rolls hurt you but it showed both the holes in the strategy as well as the strengths.

$40 Don't pass line-- Hedge it with $1-$3 on the 11. Now you can only lose with the seven on the come out roll. ( You rolled two 11's on the come out roll)

I Hedge the 11 prop bet for 1$ and the seven for 2$ on the come out wis this strategy

Joe, try the new "5-Count DON'T system" and put the odds in your favor. This system is explained on KZbin at the show: The TOP TEN MYTHS in craps. Remember every system will work on occasion and that same system will fail on occasion depending on the energy of the table. @@CrapsMasterJourney yea it’s unfortunate, but it works more than it loses at least for me. I rolled it out about 13 times with a 500 bankroll a few weeks ago and it won 11 of the 13 times

Why not bet table minimum on the Don’t Pass and then lay odds based on the number rolled? That would minimize the risk in the event of a come out 7 or 11.

@@rednalab That is an option if you wanted to. Strategy was rolled out based on how Mike from OPC rolled it. I do like the idea of min bet on the DP and then laying odds.

Yes. Come out sevens and elevens are a killer. Making the point within a roll or two also hurts.

You can run any of these strategies in a simulation and save a lot of time or you can ask an old boxman or pit boss what they think works the best. My best advice after being in the business and retiring after 30 years is twofold. Limit your exposure, i.e. time at the table , and find the best player odds.

I agree with limiting your exposure on many levels. This includes time at the table as well as amount of money on the table. Try to get to break even as fast as possible to minimize your exposure.

Recently played a don't pass strategy. I was getting hammered on the come out by the eleven. What would you think about a $1 or $2 E bet to help protect that don't pass?

I think it depends on the table, your tolerance, and how much money you are willing to risk. If the table is throwing a lot of comeout 7, 11's, then you might want to hedge it. If the table is throwing a lot of craps numbers during the comeout, then I wouldn't hedge it because the craps numbers will even things out. Again, it all comes down to your tolerance and bankroll. Most people believe hedging your DP is a bankroll drain. Just a few things to consider

Make one of your place bets the same number as the point lessening your exposure to a hot shooter .

Cool video, but it always seems that anytime you play the don't, or lay, the dice attacks your number, Yō's back-to-back, or come out 7's, why no 3's, and 2's, Craps almost seems to have a twist of evilness to it. put a few bucks on the hop eleven, and laying, or hopping the 7, might be the only way to play the dark. It might be better to just lay the 7 with bigger bet on ten, and 4, , with 6, and 8, then hop the 4's.

On the comeout the 6/8 will win 10 times & the 7 will lose 6 times. That's 5 to 3 in your favor of winning! Why needlessly leave $ on the table when the odds are always in your favor but not working the 6/8 instead? Please explain.

Thanks for the comment. First of all, the intention of this video is to roll out the strategy are exactly as shown in the original video done by "On Point Craps" To answer your question, the odds you described are accurate. I personally would not work the 6 & 8 during the comeout no matter the odds because on many tables the shooter will shoot for the 7 since it will payout their pass line bet and many people love picking off a don't player. Another reason is, should a 7 roll during the come out, you would lose $76 instead of only the $40 DP bet. Craps is a negative expectation game, so why put yourself in a position to lose more money on the comeout when the purpose of the DP is to protect your investment on the table? If you choose to work the 6 & 8 on the come out, that is a decision only you can make.

So. You could place a 3 dollar yo bet on the come out. Pays 45 if it’s hits and you lose 40. Up 5 If it doesn’t hit - you lose three dollars so instead of winning four dollars (40 don’t pass versus 36 six and 8) you win one dollar if you collect no points But it protects you more on the come out. You could lose with 7 and 11 (8/36 now only 6/36). Good strategy tho. Thanks 😊😊

Those are some great suggestions. The goal of this video was to roll it out exactly how it was shown by Mike at On Point Craps. I do agree however, that are ways to possibly improve the strategy. Be careful though, because sometimes hedging can bleed your money.

Do any of you believe anything about these so-called strategies? The odds are the odds and the payouts are the payouts. You may win a large percentage of the time, but the payouts will be slim. Then you will still lose. There is only one way to get odds as close to even as possible while still playing. Any other strategy is making the odds worse.

Craps is a negative expectation game and no strategy wins 100% of the time. Never bet money you can not afford to lose. That being said, this strategy is a great way to play the game of craps. It will keep you at the game and give you a chance to win. Ultimately, you need to set a reasonable win goal and color up if you meet or get close to that goal.

Once again, this video is a part of a series I did where I demonstrated a video exactly like the original creator. Every strategy has strengths and weaknesses. Every strategy can win or lose depending on the table conditions. It is your responsibility to practice strategies before using them in a real casino so you know where the strengths and weakness lie. Use the strengths of this strategy and add them to your arsenal so you can utilize them at the table when conditions are favorable.
