6.9 idi Diesel. No fuel from high pressure injection pump.

Thanks. My 7.3 has been sitting for 9 yrs and I got fuel to the injection pump but not out. I knew it was the pump and was hoping to find something that would show me the exact problem and how to fix it without removing everything. The shutoff was gummed up on mine. Thanks again.

Thanks, this has helped me with my 7.3. A suggestion...When you want to point something out in a difficult to reach area, use a pointer rather than your finger 'cos the finger is all I can see rather than the part that you are pointing to 😊

Hey man, I am also having the same issue on a truck of mine. I was wondering if this in fact worked on your truck ? If so, were you able to reuse your gasket for the solenoid housing lid or did you have to get a new one ?

Great video ! If the solenoid was in fact clicking/functioning then what was actually stuck inside the pump ? The reason I ask is because I am have the exact same symptoms of a crank but no start scenario on a 7.3 IDI. I am getting fuel to the filter housing & if I pop off the return line on the filter housing and crank the engine it discharges fuel as well. However, I can't seem to get any fuel to the injectors or to the fuel lines themselves. Any and all advice or tips regarding this matter is greatly appreciated.
