This is a superyacht which doesn't feel pretentious, just quality - that is quite an achievement in this space. This is the sort of machine where an owner would buy not to show off but for simple quality/performance. I personally like the simple look, the lower key table and chairs in the saloon for instance. Much prefer this than having some Italian designer putting prints all over the walls and making the place feel like a gallery, as opposed to somewhere to be comfortable.
@chippyjohn12 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't call it a super yacht, but it is better than the massive yachts. Still I have never seen a boat that was designed for actual sea living. I would love to see a boat with a good sized garden in it.

If you're buying this its not because you're selling up the mansion and want to live on the water, you're buying it because you can afford it on top of the mansion....with a lovely garden.

That hands down wins my "stingy crew area" award for the year, especially given the size of the vessel. Crew morale should be taken into consideration for anyone seriously considering this boat.

IDK. "Knowing the audience", maybe. I think Swedish people would be more comfortable than average in that space, at least if I speak for myself. Good bonding experience.
@jamesellsworth96732 жыл бұрын
I have seen worse cabins where the legs need to be thrust down some low, narrow space. Nick notes that the crew 'dining table' is being changed out for a wardrobe, with crew members taking their meals on the main deck. I DO agree with you about providing comfortable crew space. Members have off-duty hours and they need a proper lounge. The fourth head might serve the crew more often than the passengers, since each cabin has an ensuite.

Entire crew area is Smaller then Harry's Cupboard. I really dislike builders and owners that treat crew as an after thought.
@andycalvia2 жыл бұрын
The two most likely scenarios for a vessel of this size will be a part time crew of 2 (usually a couple) or it's also around the maximum threshold where it could even be owner operated and therfore the crew area is redundant. You may get the occasional nanny using that space on an uncrewed vessel such as this but it certainly is not of the size to have a full time crew for months at a time.

Another excellent tour, Nick. You are the Go-To-channel for these types of tours--nobody does it better. I never lose my sense of direction as you lead us along in a systematic way through every craft of any size. Way to go on 400,000 subs! Hello to Maryanne and family !

As you said Nick she is a stunning amazing machine. The top speed performance is staggering for a yacht that size as well. I would imagine you would feel that your going a lot quicker than you are. The decor and furnishings is perfect. Everything feels its there for a purpose and not just because it can be. The layout is spot and complements her. Giving you the most space possible with plenty of comfort. The owners cabin I would be happy if that was me and my wife's bedroom at home. The only fault I could say are the two moorings that are on the decks either side. I can see myself tripping up over those. Thanks once again Nick for brightening up my Sunday with a yacht tour.

My problem is a bunch of people want to stop people in the EU owning combustion powered cars, when a recent test boat consumed more petrol in 250 miles, than i use in a car over 2 years. The usual argument of "the boats do not get used much" does not stand in way of consumption used. They will not be giving up their private jets either. There are the have nots, and the have yachts!

That aside, what a spectacular vessel! Proper class, with no pretentiousness, just beautiful, stylish, functionality. It all seems just that bit more luxurious and convivial than the more workmanlike or industrial explorer yachts. This one is not trying to claim it is descended from steel-hulled trawlers - it is stating it is an evolution in modern design, material, and sensibilities. Wonderful.

Don't see that on some other boats. Great use of space. Fantastic job videoing it. Even though you missed pointing out the escape hatch from the master to the crew quarters.
