Gorillas are my favorite species of ape, but there's plenty of animals that can defeat them in a fight. They may be highly intelligent. Though compared to the other edges animals, such as lions, tigers, jaguars, and bears have. Intelligence isn't going to matter much, since those animals are intelligent too.🦍🦁🐅🐻🌴

Which is why i didn't add Lions otherwise you coul pretty much add any pack hunding predators like Hyenas and Wolfs. By the way don't bring up the BS of King of the jungle Lion, it's Tigers not not Lions. Lions live in savanna and Tigers live in jungle.

I think not counting pack animas individually kind of skews the information. Of course a pack of hyenas could kill a gorilla. But what about one single silver back vs vs one single hyena? The thing for a large grey wolf? A giraffe would also be an interesting fight. Almost like a UFC fight lol. These are ridiculous comparisons! When comparing fighters it must be done by weight class half the animals you list greatly outweigh gorillas, while others fight in packs. The comparison with the big cat is debatable at best.

So i am a complete wolf fanboy like basically all my clothes have a wolf on them in some form. But i am not so sure if they would take down a gorilla. Could they? Well under the right circumstance there would be advantages they would have, like the high stamina (very human like) and their tactical thinking is a boon not to scoff at. It'd be a terrible fight for both parties involved. I don't see a scenario where wolves would be the attackers apart from being starved to a point to of "fuck we ball" and even then there would probably be much better options, since a gorilla is in the area, there are probably fruits all around (in which the gorilla would be interested) and wolves would definitely get those. This would have to be a scenario of defense, and without much choice, it'd be a fight of attrition, with guaranteed losses. Like gorilla with rabies (new fear unlocked), or a similar sickness. And we're assuming it is also just one gorilla, as gorillas also don't tend to be alone. But in this hyperspecific scenario the gorilla would die by the wolves, but the wolves would suffer losses.
