I recommend getting it. I got mine not too long ago at sight and sound in Muncie Indiana and I been loving it ever since. For a while I wanted a fuzz pedal but not only that a perfect sounding fuzz pedal so I walked in and I see this and something told me to test it out and so I did and immediately I fell in love with it.

Good playing styles for fuzz demos, but single coils offer a much clearer idea of the base sound,- too many variables when you get into humbuckers. Everyone who's into fuzz ought to at least try the original Ge Fuzz Factory, the Fat version Ge, with it's huge tonal options, or the later Silicon model. It's a classic, that can do a lot of different sounds, and is excellent clean with the volume knob ( guitar) rolled off. The Park does a decent job capturing that specific vibe.

I agree for the most part about single coils. They tend to work better for the majority of fuzz circuits, however the park fuzz is a mkiii tone bender derivative, not a fuzz face, which in my opinion is one of the few fuzz circuits that works best with humbuckers.

It also doesn't clean up with the volume like a Ge fuzzface would

I liked the Rufus. Seemed most versatile. Fortin is cool, too.
