Also, I know this sounds weird but what if you only have 30% peroxide (obviously dilute it) but I feel like it might just be better to go by myself some 3%

I use 2 tablespoons of 3% H2O2 per 1 gallon of water in every watering and have amazing results. Healthier plants , more fruit and larger fruit. There are 256 tablespoons per gallon so this is a much lighter concentration application that is beneficial and safe for every watering. The ratios used here are for fixing existing problems. Using 2 tbls/gallon will prevent the problems way before they occur. Great video!!

I had an apple tree that suffered from fungus for years. The main tree died but it had a root sprout up and grew a new main stem. Once it grew to about 6’ I noticed all the leaves had signs of fungus. I mixed 1 bottle H2O2 with five gallons of water and treated the tree once a month thru one summer. The fungus slowly disappeared. The next year I only treated it one time and it produce apples like I have never seen before. Amazing

I wash my veggies using water & a little hydrogen peroxide, then package them with a towel a little water + drops of hydrogen peroxide, especially romaine lettuce. Amazing how well it works.

Vinegar is more environmentally friendly. H2O2 is highly reactive and energy and plastic dependant. At least for washing produce. Soak in a 10 percent solution about 5 minutes to 10 minutes and rinse.

Some of my houseplants suddenly were attacked by aphids in February. Ladybugs were migrating through the house. )))) I put several of them in the pots and very soon NO aphids were visible. You can also use it to loosen up compacted ear wax😃 Put a cpl drops in, keep your head tilted for about a minute or so then gently wipe it out. Wearing earbuds can cause a wax buildup 🙁 Just thought I’d mention it sense a lot of ppl are working from home now and probably using ear buds.

Try and warm it up a little bit, cold liquids in ears is excruciating. I put a little peroxide in a little dish, then run warm water over the side of the dish, don't get the water in the peroxide. It feels so much better than room temp liquid.

Hydrogen Peroxide can also be used to remove blood stains. Just like it helps with cleaning a wound if you get blood onto your clothing or carpet just pour it on and watch it do its stuff. Wait about 15 minutes then blot with a cloth. Reapply until stain is gone. I use full strength for this.

I just purchased a few herbs two that have problems I did not catch. They are now in my windowsill, I treated their soil with 3% peroxide. Sprayed with neem oil and picking off the infected leaves. I consider it an opportunity to try to save them, and experiment. Thai basil, Lemon Balm and Sweet basil. The others are planted and doing great.

Make sure whatever you use, does not poison the lizard. I know dogs cannot handle peroxide without some major problems. Example, Horny-toads are dying off because of ant poison making their meals toxic.

I use to help with stinky drains. One to two cups of 3% H2O2 at night (so it won't get washed away) really seems to help. It doesn't help with clogs, but when you hear that fizz coming out of the drain you know it's killing microbes down there.

Thank you for your advice. I asked your opinion of best way to deal with root rot in a poor struggling tree - gardenia. I asked the frequency of 1:10 application of 3% to it. The two "trunks" of what was left of the tree, I could not reach with my longest finger the holllowness and soft fibrous material up the stems. So I sprayed up the centre of the trunk +++. Would you believe only after the first application, before a week was up, the central part of the stem had HEALED!!...just about 5 cms of hollowness left. Amazing! The tree knew best...it had grown more surface roots and the root base below the ground had rotted away. So I'm spraying that void too. The main cause was a built-up garden bed which I've levelled as best as possible and allowed drainage. YOU HAVE SAVED THIS TREE...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Mix Alcohol and Hydrogen Peroxide together, equal amounts of each, and put in a small bottle with a dropper. One drop to each ear drys the water up really fast when you get water in your ears, plus it's good to use when you have an earache. Thank you for this video.

@@TheFrugalFlyRodder Would you use a smaller amount for smaller ornamental ponds? My brother in law has a terrible time with algae in his pond. It's not as deep. I'll let him know about this. Peroxide is a really versatile and cheap solution to a lot of things, not just wound care. I use on house plants when the dirt smells moldy.

I watched and did this. I think some of the color of my pink hibiscus flowers have been made lighter, as a result of using hydrogen peroxide on the potted hibiscus. I think it did help in ridding the soil of gnats.

Top tip for polytunnel melons: June 2023, it’s been warm up to now so I thought I would try a new approach this season. I planted my Honeydew melon in a 30ltr tub in the PT, then I placed a plastic dry cleaners garment bag over the wigwam bamboo sticks, with a small bowl of water inside. When the sun shines on the plastic wigwam the water provides extra humidity. Compared with non wigwam honeydews the one in the wigwam is about five times their size 🤗 As soon as flowers appear I slowly pulled the wigwam up (over 24 hrs) to acclimatise the plant and to allow flies, bees and wasps access for pollination - or do it yourself with a cotton bud (Gently).

I grew my first garden in many years this summer. I have dealt with every pest imaginable, that visits a vegetable garden. I tried many things. A friend of mine talked about H2O2 but we didn't have the specifics on how to use it. So, I am very pleased to find you. I am hoping you will help us both end our gardens on a good note. One channel here has a woman who uses tulle, bought from eBay, big swath for about $11. She covers plants to keep pests off, and found it also keeps squirrels away because they get their nails caught in it so they hate it. Very interesting, cheap, and non-toxic for the plants & foods we grow.

I am so grateful for the information that you give to us! I've tried sprouting wheat berries for my chickens so that they can have fresh greens in the winter. Each time I try to sprout them, (despite rinsing them several times per day and using proper drainage/airflow), the sprouts develop pathogens. Totally. But H2O2 is weak and unstable by nature. It doesn't take much "process" to shed the extra O at all.

I heard another grower say dont add H2O2 to your mix until ready to use it, that it goes “flat” fairly quickly, at which point you wont get the same results, meaning it loses its effectiveness after some time

@@williamcarr3976 Yes! I have heard this as well. Its my understanding that the reason it goes "flat" is because of the same reason H202 comes in brown opaque bottles. To block UV rays that quickly degrades it. And so a simple dark bottle prevents that and makes it last years. But, If someone did want to mix in advance, then i would think placing the mixture into a similarly dark, UV proof closed container would also help preserve it until its time to use? 🤷🏼‍♀
