Thank you Tim! If we can get just one more person to clean up these areas it's a win (hopefully many more though). It is such a beautiful area. If you have a high clearance vehicle you can get further away from any crowds. 😁👍

You should stop by next time. As for the tent, it is a tent on top of a cot. It is the Teton Vista (2) for 2 person. The tent sits on 2 (two) Teton Universal Camping Cots. They do have the vista for 1 person. If you go with the 1 person tent, you only need one cot. We have the links below for the cots and the tents in case you're interested. @LiveThatAdventure3 жыл бұрын
Hi, it used to be. However, with the surge of people during the pandemic, the BLM has installed new rules. Starting in the fall of 2021, camping outside of developed campgrounds in the Alabama Hills will be limited to areas shown on this map and marked with a campsite marker. There were discussions of free camping permits as well, however, i don't think it's required yet. www.blm.gov/sites/blm.gov/files/docs/2021-09/Designated_Dispersed_Camping.pdf

Hey Joe! So glad that you enjoyed the video! Yea I think you could make it around most of the area in your truck. There is some sand out there, so stay away from that and you should be alright. Im sure that you know the. capabilities of your truck. Have fun out there!

Will regular fwd cars make it out there? Or does one need one like yours/off road vehicle?
@LiveThatAdventure Жыл бұрын
You should be able to drive on the main road. There is washboard so it might be bumpy but it should work. The side roads are quite a bit more rugged though and cars wouldn't make it

@LiveThatAdventure3 жыл бұрын
@@m6n15 You would be fine on the main roads. The main road appears to be maintained and the only thing that you will have to deal with is some washboard. You might struggle on some of the side roads. Just keep your eyes peeled and know the limitations of your car and you should be fine :)

Wide angle. 50mm matches your eye. I camp at Independence on creek at campground. Foothill Road is off Onion Valley. Shepard Pass TH. Campgrounds at bottom of Onion Valley road too. And up top.
