6. Bikepacking Overnighter from Ōakura to Pūriri Bay

Whilst on holiday I pack my Surly and ride around the harbour to a campsite called Puriri Bay, and get unexpectedly chatty about... trees.

Nice trip. I always bring a buff/neck gaiter, it's great for keeping the sun out when the sunrise is to early in the tent (and multi use too).

I really enjoyed this video . Make note to one self remember a towel. The puri tree lovely fo you or did you have a wooden bowl made from one ? Note to me ( your mum ) get a pillow before we go on our over night hike . ❤
