as you're probably aware, at times going for a three star at 8 instead of leveling to have better odds to two star your 5 cost is only the play for a tuber, not because it is the correct play. he often throws for content, so for him especially it makes sense to make that distinction.

Bro, BoxBox needs to learn to take breaks from TFT. When you play at the volume he does, you are naturally more likely to get games which deviate from the norm more - both “low roll” and “high roll.” Like he gets so pissed EVERY TIME he goes bot 5. It’s just so unreasonable to expect you’re never going to do that. TFT is a game of high variance, which boxbox has expressed is a positive quality of good TFT sets, but then is mad when variance be variance’ing. You’re not always gonna be the best shop refresher. It’s so fucking annoying. Like I can only watch this dude’s videos at the beginning of a set before he loses his fucking grip on reality

I get where you're coming from - tft is one of the only games I watch, and as I can't really stand the soju clones, I usually just watch box. I've noticed this pattern too where when the novelty of a new set wears off he starts to complain a lot more - you're absolutely right about that - but I don't think it's an accurate reflection of what's going on in this set when you say he's just mad that the variance is varianceing. I remember in previous sets he took more pride in saving what should've been an 8th and clinching a 5th instead; in this set what he's expressing is more that he can't even do much to mitigate the variance, so he doesn't have as much of an effect on his placements anymore. you queue up, are at the mercy of pure rng, maybe go 8th, and then people say shit.. can't imagine doing that over and over for as many hours as he does. yeah it's annoying when he doesn't handle it well, but cut him some slack - next set'll be here soon anyhow :) in the meantime watch val or smth, don't watch smth you don't enjoy this negative energy is def draining

@@greasyshoe recommend watching shurkou. def not a soju clone imo and his humour is jokes if its ur type. while he complains a lil (like every tft streamer does), he is genuinely happy and has fun in his videos
