Good batch of songs! I felt sure La Villa Strangiato by RUSH was going to be in there somewhere, but it's more of a transition than a riff. And I could be mis-remembering it as being chromatic?

I beg to differ with a couple of the riffs you think don't suck.. Them Bones by Alice In Chains sucks. The other example, Metalica sucks too. The Motley Crue example wasn't that great either.. Dang, get better examples to prove your point.
