I like this one. I walked away with no regrets, knowing I attempted to make it work. I left my ex 6 weeks ago and even though she initiated the breakup I went along with it because I was done with her BS. She had the audacity to ask me to fight for the relationship translation "I lost control of you and I am desperately trying to regain control" Um no thanks, hard pass. One interesting aspect of no contact its that when you really moved on and stop caring about your ex and the energy you gave her , its not longer there, she will sense it and if she still cares, she will reach out even if she is with someone else. I definitely think its right to go radio silent without a word for the most effective result; but I just want to share the coldest last words I ever witnessed anyone say to an ex-girlfriend that was from a friend who has since sadly passed. Before he cut contact with his psychotic bird of 6 years we went round her house to pick up a few things of his - she was following behind him shouting and screaming and just as he was about to leave the threshold of the front door he stopped, and with his back turned to her he gave off a gentle laugh and said "Tomorrow you'll forget the sound of that"..
