Really appreciate you being honest in the video in the mistakes you made, makes the whole video better as you could have easily edited them out. Makes the whole video more genuine and enjoyable. Only came across your channel yesterday and am really enjoying your content. Thanks for taking the time to document your journeys. Scotland is a wonderful place.

Another great trip, well filmed and well accomplished. Reminds me of many trips on the rivers of Michigan's upper part of the lower peninsula. Bridges, fisherman, rapids, rain, getting swept through trees, wind; such great memories. Thanks again.

Great trip! The first part of the river remind me a lot of the Thames here in south Ontario right about till you get in to a little more whitewater. Beautiful river full of lessons and what a reward at the end to and up on the ocean! The sound the waves made on the rocks is very neat! Awesome job in picking up all the garbage along the way too👌 Respect!👊

Thanks for the video. I'm the definition of slow when it comes to setting up or breaking camp, so I can appreciate the extra time and effort it must take you, with several camera angles and whatnot. You mentioned freshwater mussels, those can be found in all the Nordic countries at least, maybe elsewhere in Northern Europe too.
@EzeAdventurer

Hey mate! Slow to break camp ey? We'd get along lol! Yeah it's quite nice when you're alone, cos you can be as sloooooow as you want! I thought I read somewhere that these freshwater mussels produced PEARLS... and that's what made them unique... maybe not? Either way we should look after them :-) Thanks for watching the video!

Mark! Those rapids were awesome!! So glad I was able to catch a bit of the salmon leaping! I filmed the river a lot in 120 frames per second to try and get it in slow motion, which would have been SICK! Well done. You do interesting and informative video's, if I were a few years younger I would very much like to give that ago. I was interested in your trousers that zipped over your wellies, I really need something like them for my boat, you couldn't tell me where you got them from please and also how did you get back to your car ? 😊😊👍👍

Hey buddy! Glad you liked it! The trousers are from decathlon, black waterproof love them and very well priced. Still going strong. I hired a shuttle to drive me back with my canoe on top of the vehicle!

@@EzeAdventurer hey Eze, a very good day to you and hope all is very well? Sorry for the messages, but wanted to ask what model of Muck boots you were wearing and did you rate them? Were they quite flexible and did your feet overheat in them? Am looking for a neoprene welly boot. I have a pair of palm boots, but want to keep my feet dry, and also with a good grippy sole. Many thanks and all the best. Matthew 👍🏼

@@Maffpalmer Mate I cannot rate those muck boots high enough, I absolutely LOVE them to bits. 10/10. They are so freaking comfortable and incredibly warm, but I've never overheated in them yet. Honestly one of my favourite pieces of kit, absolutely love them. Only downside is that if they get wet inside they take long to dry. But that's never been a significant downside for me.

8:53 the water filter - does this make any lake water drinkable? Also do the wildlife not disturb you in the night, like the foxes or deers and what not?
@EzeAdventurer
@EzeAdventurer 2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if ANY lake but it does filter to 0.1 micron level which basically removed 99.99999% or something like that of any bacteria / viruses. I've used it in many scenarios and never had any issues. Haha no wildlife don't disturb me... in the beginning when I started camping, it was all very new, so every leaf rustling kinda gets you going. I do hear sometimes branches snapping (deer likely) or small footsteps here and there, maybe badgers, foxes and small animals. Nothing here in the UK is dangerous though, so ultimately you just gotta let it go. Ear plugs can help in the beginning (not recommended in bear country though!!)

This is on my ‘must watch’ list for later. I see you have changed the channel name, got to be a good thing, if I searched for the old name KZbin could never find it. If I wanted to find one of your videos I had to try and remember the title then search for it that way. Hope this boosts the number of subscribers and watchers because they don’t know what they are missing!

Yes exactly Timsy!! The old name was too generic, love the feedback thanks buddy and totally resonate in your logic - hopefully the theory will play out in practise! Your words of encouragement are too kind as always, hope you enjoy the video ( I know you will!) when you get the chance. Best wishes, Eze.
