Well done to you all. Great area mate. Was such a fickle rut this year, I don't think that big wet break in the middle did what we all hoped it would. Still animals to be found if you put in the leg work (as you did).

Thanks bro. Yeah was certainly a funny year, I think more people had success on the post rut animals than the rut animals this year. Already keen as for next year!

I'm lucky enough to live NE Vic. I don't do much in the rut as everyman and his dog was us here smashing the place. But they are there all year round they don't disappear because summer hits so I hit one a week for ourselves and our dogs just gotta work abit harder when it's hot. But I am surrounded by 1000s of Acer of farm which back onto state Forest and national park..which makes it pretty easy

I always regret not doing any hunting while I lived in Adelaide! But I was heavily into black powder clay target shooting back then. That's a stunning piece of ground you have to shoot on, so much game; I'm jelouse as hell lol. As a matter of interest, did you knock over that buck with the broken back leg? Great video and thank you for sharing.
