Being in the Military for almost 20 years, traveling the world 4 times over, one thing I couldn't agree more with is eye pro. Being able to see everything in every type of condition is paramount, whether it's fishing or being in a combat zone. I really enjoyed this video and seeing my 2 y/o boys eyes light up with excitement when you caught the cubera and the rooster was a really heart felt moment. I hope that one day after I retire and come back to my hometown in Florida, I would get the privilege of fishing with you. Nothing helps me find peace more than fishing and it's something I want share with my children, like my father and grandfather did with me!

More power to the team! This is exactly how I like to fish but on the Halifax river in Florida. I use nothing but plastics on a good baitcaster. I like the baitcaster because there is a lot of crosswind where I live and baitcasters are so precise and accurate that I can place the cast right at the bottom of mangroves where the fish are. Then a few twitches and I hook into a snook. I absolutely admire all your determination. It's contagious👍

Awesome cubera. I was in CR for a week going offshore looking for one. Blanked out. Kept fishing on my own at night under the moon around a cove, every night. Throwing and popping working towards rotator surgery with every cast. Finally paid off with a rooster and 2 cubera. Never give up and keep putting in that work and it happen.

Also, I grew up fishing in Florida, loved every second of it, even if I wasn't catching anything worthwhile, but I moved to Pittsburgh when I was 18 and I've been here ever since. I took my wife and my two sons down to Florida to visit my family who all still live there for my 40th birthday, and I went fishing with my wife (all I caught was some large pinfish with live shrimp from the old Sunshine Skyway Fishing Pier), then my buddy and I went fishing in his "secret snook spot" with live shrimp and we didn't catch anything other than some small gafftop sailcats, and finally my dad, my sons, my wife, and I went out on my dad's new pontoon boat with live shrimp and pinfish and we didn't catch a dang thing. It was at that point that I realized that I must not know what I'm doing anymore...or I wasn't fishing in the right spots. I used to catch redfish, all kinds of snapper, black drum, sheepshead, spadefish, blacktip shark, amberjack, jack cravelle, red grouper, hogfish, kingfish, trout, and it just seems like the last few times I've been to Florida I feel like I've lost my touch.

I lived in Panama for 9 months on the indigenous Islands of kuna yala and we went spear fishing almost every day and one of the days we witnessed a 100+ cubera me and my dive buddies thought it was a grouper at first but then we saw the color and were mind blown to see a cubera that big.. the next time you go fishing in Panama, try fishing on the gulf side it won't disappoint, and the islands are some of the most beautiful islands you will ever see

We to have the whale sharks every year as they migrate to the warmer water! I’m on the Central Coast of Western Australia, in Geraldton. Whale shark tours are so popular further North at Exmouth, higher up the Coast from me! One of the Worlds other wonders! Loving your work, keep it up! Much love.❤️❤️
