Positives If govt gives subsidy to Tesla 1.Manufacturing plant in india create jobs 2. Bring cutting edge technology 3. Other Indian ev manufacturer will also get benifited as competition bring their best from them. 4. EV Ecosystem will be created 5. Employees switching from Tesla to other brands will bring technologies. Negatives 1. Extra favor to Tesla is injustice to other firms. 2. Tesla is giant...therefore chance in future that in subsume the other Indian brand 3. Indians firms face losses due to lack of innovation compare to Tesla. 4. Current growth in EV from Indian brands already growing with good pace govt should not disturb the growth Way forward Considering the fact India is a humongous market. India show stick to their Current policy for ev... eventually due to growth and increase purchasing power of Indians... Soon of later Tesla will also come to India as govt terms and conditions. Till then govt focus to boost domestic production of Evs made them that they can compete with Tesla in USA.

Sticking on Custom duties like 60 % or 100 % shows rigidness and solidify Protectionist image . Tesla will bring new cutting edge technology for manufacturing of EV vehicles ,Present EV vehicles are not on that competitive stage (except Tata Nexon) . But solution lies in joint venture and perfect example of this is Jaguar and Tata's joint venture, which increased sales of luxury jaguar cars and also boosted domestic manufacturing of Jaguar under the TATA, So in this direction Tesla can also collaborate with India' s automobile manufacturing companies and all this can be happened by negotiations for mutual benefits of both the companies as well as countries.

A person who can afford buying a Tesla car can pay the import duty too. And in India majority is middle class so they go for the vehicles which are durable and at a quality price which is being ensured by the domestic manufacturers.

Yes import duty should be same for all the foreign companies and no exception should be given to Tesla as well and instead domestic automobile sector should be made more competitive by providing them more subsidies

Car is need of the hour . At the same time domestic company must be incentivised to mfg. New tech cars esp. Electronic Vehicle. Say of Dalits in decision making .. policy should be by and for the SC and ST .. 2:40 Climate change: Global Renewables and Energy efficiency pledge not signed by India and China.. Developed and developing fight over agreement. 2:40 4th of Dec Navy Day: Chhatrapati Shivaji one of pioneer of Navy in india (1661-1663) Brown water operation:- near the coast Blue water policy- on high sea 2:40 Henry kissinger Realpolitik: ✓Practicality over ideology: eg US investment in communist china ✓Ruthless national interest : no value eg: Bangladesh and USA ✓ stretegic ambiguity: eg Taiwan policy of US ✓Flexible alliance : No permanent friend no permanent enemy only national interest ✓Back channel diplomacy ✓ Global peer balance. I think...govt should give ..yes, it can be less ... because of,...if subsidy will be not provide then ... their will be less compition in market....and .. situation can maybe like afterfreedom economic situation.. where competition was so much less....so ,...I think.. would be give.. benefits - 1) infrastructurel growth of GDP ✓ 2) competition in market .. increase.. 3) ultimately... benefits to people.. 4) quality will be increase.... 5) yes , it's not be more and more ...

if we restrict our economy by fear of competition fr to ham vapas 1991 wala model apna rae h... if tesla open its manufacturing in india - 1- job opportunities 2- R&D on electriccal vehicle 3- increased competition and ultimate benefits to people 4- will help to achieve 500GW renewable energy target 5- tesla may export their cars by india ... there should be some medium path and we should allow tesla in india.

In my Opinion Tesla is not growing because of his features or faculties provides in it it's growing because of the name of his owner Elon Musk. And providing subsidy to a single company will be called partiality. Indian Automobile companies are doing great. They are trying to be more better. They are also manufacturing EVs that are also good and in range of middle class family. Tesla is not made for middle class on behalf of it's price range. And upper class in India is not too much that Tesla will provide a good Economy to us. Our country is doing better in Automobiles and those who are talking about Tesla is because of his owner. Please correct me if needed on my POV

Sir, Pvt sector main kaise reservation de sakte hai. Aur agar market itna hi kharab hai toh America kaise thrive kar raha hai, waha kaise itne Indians jaake CEOs bane hai. Kaise unke waha people with color President and Defense Secretary and Vice President bante hai. Reservation De do sab thik ho jayega ek bht galat philosophy hai, yeah Lalu aur unke beto ko political gain dilane ke liye toh thik hai, but actual jo deprived hai unke kisi kam ka nhi. Jaise aap UPSC ko dekh lo kitne garib gharke, marginalized section ke log participate and clear kar pate hai, main exceptions ki baat nhi kar raha. But as a whole actual Marginalized communities is competition main aa hi nhi pati aur pura malai ek ya do caste milke kha jaate hai.
