I'm still watching the video, so maybe you go over this, but looking at this technique I feel like I could do it without the rubber bands. The technique reminds me of a scissor braid. This is very pretty. ❤

I found that I can do the technique without the rubber ands down the length but I feel like there were "holes" in the braid. I'll keep working on it. 😊
