Hi Leah, I would recommend washing your hair when it gets greasy! There is something called DHT in sebum which can contribute to hair loss. It is a myth that washing more often causes hair loss unless it's extreme. It's all the heat and styling we put on it after than causes split ends and hair loss.

Not true at all, as an hairdresser recomend wash hair 1 once a week. Max 2 times a week. But once a week much more better, sebum actually protect the hair naturally ie nothing to do whit hairlossa❤

@@riikkaelinas That's funny, cause multiple hair dressers and a dermatologist have told me what I said. I think if someone's hair is not that greasy they can get away with washing once a week. But for someone like me who is very oily and also struggle with hair loss washing more often has helped a lot with hair growth and irritation.
