I have a glue press and I love it! I have arthritis in my hands. When I first got it, it was very hard on my hands. I used one of the tips with a larger opening for the glue to flow. As I strengthened my hand, I gradually decreased the nozzle size. Now, I can use any of the nozzles. I bought mine from My Sweet Petunia.

Another fabulous episode Angela. I have taken delivery of all the bits I need with the exception of the seaweed dies which will come end of September! I even treated myself to the mini blueprints and the fragments stamps. I can at least get the main bones of the journal constructed. I really love the colours in this digital kit, so fresh and breezy . Thank you Angela for your hard work.❤

I love ALL these ideas. I always try to find, make and have plenty of pockets but that lie flat within the journal. These definitely fit the bill. I am coming closer to finishing the Country Retreat journal. Just finishing touches and the cover to do. Then I will be just one more step closer to getting to start this wonderful journal.

I am determined to get this finished in the next week, as I have a project I want to work on for my granddaughter (whom I haven't seen for 12 years and will be seeing this coming Xmas)!! And I have another project in mind to make a journal for my sister. So got my skates on and trying to keep my momentum going to get this and the other two (at least) done!!! I am really loving making this journal.... not only because it is different from the conventional journal, but also because I LOVE LOVE LOVE the beach/ocean!! Well.... onwards and upwards. Just need to finish a household chore then I will be back into it in about another hour!!! Thank you again for such a gorgeous kit and ideas for this wonderful concertina journal!!!

The seaside beach always brings back unpleasant childhood memories of the sting of wind blown sand, sea nettles, nasty seaweed and several bouts of sun poisoning. But I love the idea of your accordion journal! I’ve recently gotten back into quilting after many years. I’ve been collecting digitals of sewing themed papers, and while watching your beach series construction over the past few videos, tonight it dawned on me that this journal idea would be perfect for keeping track of quilt block ideas for past and future quilts…brilliant! Instead of beach trip memorabilia, I’m going to include hand drawn blocks, photos of quilts by designers I follow, and snips of fabrics I’d like to use in those quilts-to-be. So thank you once again for your inspiring creativity, Angela💖

Oh my dear Lorraine. You and I share something in common. I do not like the wind. It is especially more prevalent at the coast. I grew up at the coast and didn't like a windy day for the same reasons. But the calm days and walking on the beach were special. So pleased that you love the accordion idea for your quilting. Lovely journal. I have the glue press. Worst investment I have ever made. I thought it would be easier on my arthritic hands, but I don’t think the cost is worth all the headaches I’ve had. First off, the glue that comes with the press was horribly stuck in the bottle. Nothing I could do to get it out. Finally ordered a spare bottle and put a different glue in it. Now my issue is that when I open the bottle and take the cap off, it also pulls the tip off of the bottle. I have to spend so much wasted time trying to pry the tip off of the cap and then try to get it to stay in the bottle before I can even continue with my project. Like I said, probably the worst purchase of crafting tools I have ever made. For the exorbitant price, I would have expected better quality.

Oh no Debbie. It sounds as though yours needs to be returned as faulty, lovely. I haven't had the same experience at all. I am sure yours must have ben damaged or something. I would definitely contact the company and complain. You shouldn't have to deal with all that. Hugs and blessings xxoo
