Hi, I thought the general rule was to have "smoke over fire"? Meaning the black lead (negative) more proximal while the red lead (positive) is distal? Is there a reason your set up is the opposite?

I believe it's because black is not always the cathode in all estim systems. It could be the anode (positive) in this case which is why it's more distal, but I'm not 100% sure
