I got 3 12 in dual subs from walmart for 32$ each in my mini van hooked up to a 600 watt dual amp each one is getting 600watts but I'm gonna buy a 1,100 watt amp for each sub because they say they max out at 1,200 watts see how they hold

I've always wondered about these 6.5 order boxes. It's usually two subs in the front that are running as a ported box and 4 inside in a 6 order and it makes no sense to me to do it that way. It seems like there would be phase issues as well as the 2 woofers being in a different part of the box still connected together in the same chamber. I just wonder what the difference would have been if it was just 4 inside, or if there was 6 inside and none outside

I’m with you on this. I think he’s losing output. Also, the size of the port that makes it’s a series 6th is seriously choked. The compression from high excursion is effectively blocking that port. I’m all for innovation and advances in technology and or sound but I’d have to see both sets of numbers and a few other things before o believed that this was more effective

Se7enMiIe yea, I got 2 FU750v2 18s in a caravan on Q1-2200.2 with exceptional electrical and it seems like it moves about the same amount of air. It does look very nice though. Mine broke my windshield.

Nice build but one thing: There is no such thing as a 6.5 th order enclosure. What does 0.5 acoustic orders even mean? This is a mixture between a 6th order bassreflex and 6th order serial bandpass.

They were $99 at the time when they manufactured them. Today probably could sell/buy around $120-150 my guess as they no longer make them.

Decaf Astra claims to have invented it. It's a 6th order, but there's some subs that are playing directly into the cabin. I cant figure out how you'd tune one of these or what the pros and cons are.
