I appreciate Samuel's enthusiasm and incredible collection of pens! I too, enjoy the "over-the-top" editions. I love the large KOP 21k nib, though I am not always attracted to the pen color combinations. I love the MB nibs as the nib designs usually match the theme of the edition as well as the nice packaging of the 4810 and 888 editions - and so I have many more MB's than any other brand.

I actually own the Otto Hutt Design 06 with a broad steel nib, and it is an excellent everyday writer. Of the pens you tested, I would probably buy the Scribo with a flex nib.

I like the ink flow of Pelikan - how the Sui-gyoku comes out darker. Scribo made me interested in flex nib. But the Sailor nib seems to write so well - as evidenced by Samuels small burst of surprise laughter.😂😂

Dear Samuel, by mistake you called the Iroshizuku Sui GYoku ink of Sailor instead of Pilot. Never mind buddy. I'll definitely pick the Sailor KoP from this lot. I noticed that the nib of the KoP had the old imprint. One question and I believe you can answer the best -- Why doesn't Caran D'Ache make over sized pens? We Fountain pen enthusiasts enjoy the Mont Blanc 149, Sailor KoP, Namiki Emperor and Yukari Royale. Anything smaller than Pelikan M800 is small for us.

4:22 Ooompf! Don't say that to Montblanc! I would 100% go for the Sailor if only they offered the KOP with a "F" nib, otherwise, SCRIBO all the way!

@@SamuelNaldi "Company policy", cannot dip a nib before you buy it, and if you dip it after you bought it and don't like it, they refuse to take it back. Even trying the nib dry on paper just to feel If there were no scratchy feeling made them really angry, because "a nib is not made to be in contact with paper without ink, it damages the writing instrument"...
