Adjustments, always working and tinkering until your satisfied it's spot on. Looks good Murry River! Best of luck this year!

Hopefully I can get out soon. So I can give the set up a good run. Might be to much water flow , but with different size holes in the spray bars it should give me the right mix of flow and pressure.

I'm in the same boat re: having the large cell mat up top -- let it catch the big heavies -- and have the mini mat below. Thinking here on my part is the large cell mat will not only catch the big heavies and not allow them to clog up the mini mat, but will slow the material down in general. Otherwise, I have a small section of unbacked miner's moss in the crash pad to slow things down. Love your idea about expanding the punch plate for the whole length of the hopper!

The the punch plate running the whole length of the hopper works really well. Found it worked best with the 2 spaybars. Have been thinking of get a 6 inch mat from the US like my 8 inch dredge mat. By Dream Mat. This mat has deep cell that are a little bit smaller than the original cell. I will be holding a meet up in June at Creswick. Will have a video up next week.

Just showing you don't have to be afraid of water flow on a small sluice. The main thing is separating the gold from the gravel.

What is your pump,i have 8"rat what do you recomend you have a good flow
@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures Жыл бұрын
I use 3700gph on my 8 inch. I tried a 3000gph & was just that little big slow. I now use a Dredge mat that name by Dream mat. I could even put a 4700gph with a problem.
