“Ich habe fertig!” is such a German game. German games are usually very not humorous but this one is a deck of German jokes, many of them inside jokes from German culture. The whole point is not to know the cards and just discover the “chaos”. I love Tom even hating the game himself recognised the fun others have with it.

Regarding "I am Done", you either hate or love it. And credits to Tom including Jimmy's opinion! I've had the same experience with the people I introduced this to. I just love watching people play this for the very first time 😅 it's always chaotic and yes, some games can take forever and definitely overstay their welcome. You just shouldn't take it too seriously and commit to some silliness.

Love your rating of "I am done". In Germany it's pretty hyped within the boardgame community and I couldn't understand why. But that's what's good about boardgames. Everyone finds something he likes. 😅

Has anyone else played "We didn't playtest this at all?" A group of us had one fun night goofing around with that game and never played again. "I Am Done" seems like a rip-off of that idea with the only different element being the "I am done" part.

Just like We Didnt Playtest This At All, I Am Done sounds like it is everything Fluxx wishes it could be. Irreverent, silly fun that doesnt drag out for too long. Also it manages to make people laugh without asking them to behave stupidly, because the game itself is just ridiculous. It was always a massive hit with youth at my church, and probably not intended for adults who play games professionally. Its like a Naked Gun or Hot Shots movie, so stupid its funny.
