I could have done with this vid last week. Took part in Enduro at Tweedlove at the weekend. Survived and didn't crash. Time not great, but it was my first ever Enduro , having been a mountain biker since the mid 80's and having just turned 60 I thought it was about time to challenge myself. Also had the bonus of meeting Anna from GMBN Tech at the bottom of last stage on practice day. Nice person 👍

Nice, Gordon! That's great that you tried an enduro race for the first time! We're stoked you got to meet Anna! Thanks for the support! 👊

Muul makes a great puncture tool holder that also holds a quick link. Mounts to the handlebars for quick access. Maybe not needed for a regular ride but could be a timesaver in a race.

Lots of good advice, even if not all really hacks. 😁

I noticed there is now a massive range of really compact multi-tools that are way smaller than they used to be. I guess these have been something that enduro racing has forced manufacturers to work on more.

Yeah, you're right! Small compact tools are great to carry around with you for enduro rides! We use products from Topeak on the channel, but other brands are available. 👍

@GMBN Hi, Fall / Winter is around the corner. Can you make an update video about the newest cold weather gear. Plus, I need some lights, thanks 💐

Carry a couple of new removable valves for tubeless setups I’ve had one of them go on me causing a flat it’s a quick fix if you have one.

Speaking of on bike storage for tools... why not mention oneup edc tools?
@davehorne17482 жыл бұрын
Leyzene, Granite Stash, Bontranger Wolf Tooth and others all do tools sets that can be carried in the handle bars, head tube, and hollowtech bottom brackets. Better for paint work, and more secure than velcro

The Dakine hot laps gripper pouch is decent if you're not worried about gramage... Protect yer paintwork though

I always wonder if "enduro lunch-box" don't cause structural weakness in frame.

How good do these helmets work in conditions with loads of insects? I would love to have more ventilation than on my full DH helmet but also not a wasp collector.
@mtbville2 жыл бұрын
They don't work for it at all. My Fox Proframe is a 🐝 magnet 😅

Great now something else to worry about lol. This has never happened to me is it a real problem?!
@chrisridesbicycles2 жыл бұрын
@@taylorevans1642 let‘s take it this way: I’m already good at collecting everything with six legs with a normal helmet. That‘s why I asked.

The better the venting, the better at pushing the bugs/bees out the back with my experience.

Just gotta ask, how are Enduro weight tires a "hack" for riding Enduro? 😁

Redbull in the water bottle. Electrolytes in the back pack. Keeps you hydrated stops cramps

Neil wasn't lost in this video, but the watch is great for navigating on rides!
