To help a little more with the MFT leave your horse outside the white area in the direction the horses run and take Al’s horse to chase them with. He’s fine with it and it gives you a few extra seconds. Also try to get him in the trees so he gets stuck between a tree and your horse. Hope it helps. This is the most annoying part of the game to me but worth the headache. 😂

personally Ive started using the Perlino Andalusian up at Brandywine Drop from the start of C2 since its free, so easy to get and has great stats, then I switch to the Turk in C3

With the turkoman, you can also bond with it as your riding ti the stables. Just dismount and climb the back of the stable window and bond with it.

On the John Marston mission when you have to chase those horses an easier method and faster in my opinion is going behind the shed and entering through a window and then grooming the horse there. The white Arabian works easier and you just have to feed it twice. Then you can leave the stable and approach the dude outside that you’ll choke out. You can even ride your temperaty horse right out if that stable if you wish

Only horse I have found that is fast, never bucks me, and a beautiful horse, is the Dark Bay Turkoman. However, I'm just trying the Wild Bay Mustang. He isn't as fast as the Turkoman, but he's BRAVE. Loud noises and ugly creatures don't phase him.

My white Arabian didn’t like Albert mason for some reason?. Everytime I went to him she would get restless, have to calm her down or move her away or els she would sort of gallop away on her own. At first I thought it was a snake or something but nahh, doesnt seem to like him. I also noticed when I first jumped on his horse, its cores were low. Maybe she knows he mistreats ? Idk had me stumped.

@ it’s unreal, Always find myself questioning how deep the game is. I was curious if horses get braver overtime and apparently they don’t but how do you explain an Arabian being terrified of snakes when I first got her and now she can walk through croc infested lands , get shot at , run towards gunfire , I do have to keep patting her walking past gators but she does it and gracefully I might add.

@D36D9 i believe we can kind of "train" the horses. When i played online(i did quit online, started with story mode again a 3rd time) i took my new horses to lagras to keep calm them down next to the crocos. I feel it worked, most of my horses dont easily throw me off^^

The turko mission it only took me ONE carrot to bond… maybe cuz I have the Horse Bong Ticket 🤷🏻‍♂️… every video I seen people literally sit there, feeding and feeding and feeding until the bond.

I also noticed that the boight gold turko from St Dennis has better stats. I noticed that this is with every horse caught in the wild. They have lesser stats than when you buy them at the stables. I’m assuming you get what you pay for so being that if you catch them in a wild they’re free then you get what you get. If you’re buying them, then you’re getting top-notch stats I guess. This is something that I’ve noticed for me though.

I always steal or if i have 2k buy the gold turkoman in saint denis stable, it just looks so fcking good, it might not be the fastest but it has a shitton of health (lvl 10 health at max bonding if i remember) and then i dress arthur with a macthing gold attire and there you have my arthur morgan and his horse, "Goldrush"

I was appreciating the handling of the Arabians... Which is noticeably better than the Missouri Fox trotter.... But the Arabian did buck me off when dealing with an ambush. Super not cool. I'm guessing when they were running this game and beta they had much bigger differences with each stat bar for speed in particular... It's pretty much negligible in the final product. Which is very disappointing. Horse differences mean little

Arabians are the fastest in my opinion as they also have elite handling but if you do use rdr2 mods then get better horses mod, it will change MFT Silver dapple pinto handling to elite from standard and that makes it the best horse in the game.So, the conclusion is without mods arabians are the #1 horses in the game and with mods MFT Silver dapple pinto is the #1

If you get Buel you'll eventually lose him in late game. That's why you should only do the first three missions with Hammish and keep the fourth for "later" (you'll see what i mean) in order to keep Buel forever It's kinda vague said like that but i don't wanna spoil anything just in case

EDIT: this method worked for me (MFT Al Mission). For some reason, the horses kept despawning. I made a mistake (unrelated) and reloaded my game, which meant I had to redo this mission. I figured I might as well try one more time and it worked. Leaving my original comment as an act of humility lol: Just wasted a bunch of time trying your method on PC, it doesn't work. Please don't put out BS.

@@akshaychavan9090 this happened to me a ton. I noticed the last time when I got it, I did a way better job following the cliff straight to the NPC. It’s important to get to him and dismount before skipping the cutscene and immediately mounting to chase. For me, the MFT was slightly to the left of where it’s shown in the video (in the forest off the tracks instead of to the right in the open). I had to chase it for ages to leap on. It’s worth it. Level 4 now, amazing horse.

I don't like arabians' horses... They are pretty small. It's almost like ride some mules.
