In my opinion vforce 3 reeds are the best I've ever used, I had a pair of boyseen's and they were very nice but they didn't last as long as my vforce's have.. I do agree with you that they are good but just in my opinion, I feel that vforce is the better way to go even though they are more expensive, if you are short on money, but want a good quality product, boyseen is the way to go but if you are looking for racing performance quality and are willing to spend the money, vforce is the way to go

have you seen 'stage six' reeds? they do a inlet manifold and reeds kit jusy like that for mopeds, i have one on mine. theyre a german company i think.

Found your vid series very informative, was going to try out a dedicated performance block like the Malossi VL6 in my LML engined Vespa but now am going to try out some of your methods for getting a better response as the LML standard reed isn't that good being Indian but the materials out there are better than the glass fibre reeding LML uses. Thanks :)

Ian Watson Thanks for watching. The trick is the Boyeson reed material that bends when it should and does not leak and also more importantly at high speeds, the reed material does not flutter , allowing the wrong amount of fuel to the engine in the crucial high end phase. I have used one Boyeson CR 125 Honda two stage reed petals and cut them to fit exactly in my CT intake reed cage. Throttle is crisper, more even and More top end. I have three years of testing and racing to prove it. I did not know if it would work since Boyeson only sells reeds to match certain known bike engines. Not a CT intake on a Honda dio 50. Fine tuning the reed cage, positioning the reeds themselves and paying attention to detail, will give you a very strong running engine. My work has proved it. Glad to have helped and have many more vids in my playlist on every form of 50cc two stroke racing engine building. Thanks RH DSD

Buy a moped and just start working on it. Plenty of really fast riders in the Philipines with great looking bikes. RH DSD
