I think what the chatter meant with the veigar chasing the smolder example was the fact that (I'M NOT SURE OF THIS) I think TFT does some kind of "buffered inputs" in units' movement. Like, if my 4 range (4R), let's say Veigar, is 4R away from the target, I expect him to just keep attacking. But let's say Smolder, who has a lot more movespeed with a Mittens, flies away from Veigar 2 hexes, and then reaches the corner of the map, so he comes back towards Veigar 1 hex. Now, although my Veigar would only need to walk forward 1 hex, because by the time he does so, Smolder already came back towards him with his higher MS, Veigar still walks forward 2 hexes because the initial distance fled by Smolder was 2 hexes. That's what I mean by Biffering Inputs, it FEELS like units set their mind to a correct movement "input" and then only find out that they didn't need all that movement (due to a change in their target's position) by the time they already completed it. I also think this is what causes every pathing issue that I see. Now, if it were that easy, I'm sure it wouldn't be me with no experience to find that out, so probably ignore me XDD

it worked just fine. you should've sold the 4 cost at bench. If you want a specific unit to be upgraded, it have to be the only unit at the designated cost on the board/bench
