The Skull is one of the best horror films of the 60s and beyond, in my opinion. Very effective and atmospheric with an incredible performance by Mr. Cushing. The Incredible Shrinking Man is a true classic. Blood and Black Lace is high style violence against women, a foreshadowing of the unrestrained glorification of such violence.

The Skull is a worthwhile watch - it's hard not to like something with Cushing and Lee anyway. I have Blood and Black Lace, but not seen it yet. It's recognised as one of the pioneering Giallo. I find them addictive, some obviously more enjoyable than others. I've been collecting as many as i can recently, and even got a few Spanish produced titles. Most have excellent scores too, some by Morricone. If you guessed the killer in B and B L; i can recommend one i watched just last night - The Bloodstained Butterfly[1971]. I honestly couldn't work out how it would conclude; some great twists and turns in the plot. 👍

Shock to the system sounds good, I’ll pick it up in a 101 sale. Balto I can remember slightly. I have The Skull, need to watch soon. Blood & Black lace is all about the style so I can see how it can be predictable. I’ll rewatch Popcorn again, it’s good fun. Great video and reviews mate 👍

Great video Stuart!! The only one I haven’t seen is Balto. Outside of Dawn I haven’t seen any of the others in at least 30 years…..damn I’m getting old. I’m not a big giallo fan but I know I’ve seen Blood and Black Lace but honestly I don’t remember anything about it 😂

Great movies you have there mate especially The Incredible Shrinking Man. A little correction I think The Skull was made from Amicus studios or something. But Hammer is off course overall better in my opinion
