I watched this video back in the day while researching meal kits and decided tomgive it try. Im an old single guy and have found it to be perfect for me since I live most of an hour from the grocery storeand this is so much more convenient. I don't mind the prep and cooking since the miltary put me through cooking school and it's only the shopping I loathe. I've been geting 3 meals [6 servings] per week for a couple of years and don't plan to stop anytime soon.

It’s better to buy ingredients online and search up for recipes yourself to save money
@madelinecadieux76364 жыл бұрын
If the goal is to save money, buying everything yourself is definitely the better option. However, the time saved and the convenience, plus the wide range of recipes (little packets of random herbs/spices you don't need to buy full size for example) makes this a great option for people who are time poor and really want a great variety of healthy options. For this reason, I reckon it's worth it, even if you just use it for a little while. When I was a student, I used to obsess about saving money..to the point it would stress me out because I was always looking for the cheapest option and wondering whether I got the best deal or if I was ripped off (I would ONLY buy stuff on special and then be upset when the price went down further lol). Now that I have a bit more money, I feel like this isn't necessarily the best way to live, I allow for convenience when I think it might make life easier so I can focus on other things.
@mochivo15794 жыл бұрын
Dolly Gee yeah but if the person knows how to cook might as well cook then or buy takeaway food and pack it individually which is also cheaper. It’s only $37 for her cause she got a discount, if she didn’t it will be more expensive. Hence, shops that delivers grocery to ur house is also better. This delivery meal kit is only good for stay at home people, lazy cookers, or just don’t know how to cook at all and needs instructions to learn. This also not even enough to feed a family of 4. You said you were a college student and if you don’t have anyone besides yourself then it’s also better to buy food normally as most food in the box isn’t that appetising.
@madelinecadieux76364 жыл бұрын
@@mochivo1579 I actually think these delivery meal kits are very popular now because a lot of people don't know how to cook (or they hate cooking!) or simply don't have the time to look up recipes and be creative in the kitchen. They could be busy working parents or professionals who don't want to eat takeout, I wouldn't say they're lazy, they just have other priorities. I don't think delivery kits are the best thing ever invented lol... all I meant is that some people value convenience above saving money - they just want the option. I'll be honest, I really dislike cooking.. I have to force myself to make food! I have a couple of recipes that I make regularly but I've used the dinnerly box a few times for more variety and to keep things interesting. That being said, I don't use it all the time because you can learn the recipes from the meal kit and re-make them later, using ingredients from the grocery store.
