I think The Butterfly effect is so good at showing how small decisions we make as a kid, or when we are younger, even so much as meeting someone can drastically change the outcome of our lives and the subsequent decisions we make. No film gets you to think about that more than this film, which is why I love it so muc.

Levi Ackerman "stopping it will not effect the current timeline" - "Current timeline" could refer to the timeline that the main character is in during the 'simulation'. As we find out at the end of the movie, each time he goes into the 'simulation' an entirely new reality is created which continues on even after he dies. The final time he enters the source code, he saves the train, survives, get's the girl, and continues on living the other mans life by using his knowledge of future events. If that's not time travel I don't know what is...

I just watched the movie "Frequency" and I must say now I'm going to go on an early 2000s binge. Movies back in the day were so well thought out and had so much DEPTH to them. A truly truly amazing film that I will definitelyy recommend.
