It was beyond stupid as the set was already decided very handily. He moves in to the net to try to over-dominate. He has favorable court conditions as it was very wet and less bouncing. He also had home crowd advantage. Give Tsitsipas a Greek crowd under his most favorable conditions, and let's see how Alcaraz reacts.

@robinhozinho78533 ай бұрын
going for the body is absolutely legit. study the rules. it's much less gentleman-like to bounce the ball 20-30 times like Djoker or use all the time in the world between its serves to make oneself pretty and let your opponent wait and steal its focus like Nadal. if you want to argue that it's a gentlemen's game, we must have a look at many things - drop shots, aggressive net approaches, lobs, especially after drop shots and in particular by young players versus the older ones, body serves, time delays, everlasting ball bounces, celebrating after opponents' mistakes, showboating, trickshots, underarm serves, loud & frequent complaining (Nick Kyrgios is brilliant at it), letting you bring your sweaty towel by other people and so on. going for the body after your opponent comes aggressively to the net and blocks all the passing space and tries to win an easy point is by far not the worst of the above. the net aggressor is just begging for fire, that is my interpretation. since going for the body is not forbidden, stop whining and complaining and look for another sport if you don't like it. tai chi is a good alternative.

It's because people are mostly jealus of succesful guys and when some of them gives any sort of reason, they start hating big time. Most of them have done way worse things in and out their homes, but they won't tell you about it, they just keep on hating the succesful guy

few years back I've noticed his pretty cool playstyle and thought here it is new generation's Federer, but it kinda faded away. I'm sure he can be great but he needs to learn to respect others and fix mentality :)

Bro don't you notice how most of the comments on almost every video are from trolls. Like there's almost no genuine comment here. The people with the honest opinions are the ones who don't comment at all.

The irony of Tsitsipas's attitude with any perceived disrespect. He expects it but behaves like a petulant child. The dad too...

Are you stupid? The racket shattered, you can see it after it’s smashed. He grabs his arm because parts of the broken racket hit him, not the racket itself…🙄
