Daisy is a 1-year-old Great Pyrenees pup. We've had Daisy since she was 2 months old. She was adopted from a Great Pyrenees Rescue in Washington state. Daisy is a gentle and loving giant. She is the sweetest dog I’ve ever had. Daisy’s hobbies include guarding her family, sleeping, playing in water and snow, trying new foods, and barking at everything! As my first dog fur baby, she is very spoiled with a lot of enrichment activities and treats! We love to go on lots of adventures together!

Diego is a 13-year-old cross-eyed kitty. We have had Diego since he was 4 months old! He was rescued from the Humane Society in Las Vegas, NV. His hobbies include laying in the sun, begging for treats, and sitting like a bodybuilder. Diego is a very sweet boy that loves spending time in laps.
More About Their Mahm
I love spending time with my fur babies and enriching their lives as much as I can. I usually pick up a new hobby every other week that can include baking treats for the babies, making bandanas, painting, and cooking! I am so impressed that she is off leash. My guy still doesn’t do come in the fenced in yard unless I have a very high value treat. Once I accidentally let go of his leash while walking him in my neighborhood…I spent an hour chasing him and trying to grab the leash. Finally I gave up and walked home… he followed me and thankfully came inside. I really thought I had a DisaPYR and maybe that is because he is a Great Pyrenees (72%) /Anatolian Shepherd (18%) mix

Omg disaPYR 😂 I bought a squeezable peanut butter for recall and worked on it for months! My mom has a great pyr mix with roaming tendencies so I knew I had to train extra hard.

Do you think a Pyr could be a good service dog for a person with mobility issues?

I can't imagine that would work. Too independent minded.

Great Pyrenees are known for being independent and stubborn. I think if you know that and train really hard, then anything is possible! Daisy is 68% pyr and I knew how my mom's pyr mix was when I adopted her. I trained REALLY HARD on the commands I knew pyrs are known to not listen to. Like, "come" and "quiet". They like to wander and bark! They also choose to follow the commands or not, unless heavily trained. Although, this breed is sooo sweet and mellow. Daisy is food motivated so it was easier to train her, but my mom's pyr does not care for food.
