6 Month review, Predator 2000 watt inverter/generator.

I put an hr meter on mine that has a tachometer as well. After a while you can tell how long it’ll run by what rpm you are running 🤙🏽 I also use seafoam in everything I have with an engine 😅

The hour meter and tachometer is a great idea. Did you buy it on Amazon or locally. I may install that. You can only estimate how many hours it’s ran.

The generator/inverter has paid for itself in what I’ve saved in diesel if I ran the truck all night.

So that little heater warms you up in the truck at night? I would like more information on that heater if that's the csse.

The heater is from a company called Brightown. 400 watt. What I did was get an S hook that I think my wife used to hang plants. I then drilled a hole in the handle and hung the heater from the hook in the truck. I taped the safety switch, but I can’t say to do that. (Legal concerns). Then I could direct the output so it wasn’t blowing on the cloth interior of the truck. I bought the foil insulation from Lowe’s and cut them to make window shades. The 400 watt heater barely makes the generator ramp up. I’ve gone 10 hours and it didn’t run out of fuel.

@GNJ RV Transport that's amazing that the little heater works for yall. I seen a review for it. They said it works well. But due to the size of it i didn't think it would do much. Thanks for rhe reply.

Since my wife traveled with me, I didn’t have room in the truck for a portable AC unit. Sadly I ran the truck when it was too hot. My friend had a sliding rear window and he placed a small air conditioner at the rear window every night.

So you leave it for 2 months with fuel?

I add seafoam to the fuel. I try to run the fuel out if possible. However, I use the generator around the yard, like building garden boxes and running my miter saw off of the generator. Winter months, I'll put the generator outside and run an electric heater while I am working in the garage.
