On a fresh perm you also can wrap the hair wet with leave in and the moisturize lotion it came with and use a tail comb, put a silk or satin tie head scarf on and let you hair completely dry, it comes out just like if you flat iron it

Hey, do you coat the ends of your hair with vaseline to prevent runoff damage? Also won't using that paddle brush with your wet hair damage it? Hair is weakest when wet

No I only base the perimeter with Vaseline and I’ve said before that I don’t really care about damaging my hair, to me it’s just hair 🤷🏽‍♀️ so I’m not picky with what I use

If you want to then go for it. I have 4c hair too and got a relaxer back in August. I haven’t done a touch up relaxer yet because my roots are still manageable even though there’s a decent amount of new growth
