That Aluber interaction in grave actually stopped me from losing against Mathmech at my locals' finals. Dude went for the Accesscode line to OTK me, but when he popped my monster, Aluber came in negating Accesscode, so he lost the massive Atk boost. Had him not being there, I would've lost on the spot

Same Aluber saved from Salads and I only had 200 lp left and it was a grind game Branded Despian is wayyy better then I had 4 fusions on board. MVP Aluber

The mirrorjade thingy depends on how the “unaffectiveness” is written. If it sais “activated effects” it does work, if it sais “unaffected by any/other card effects” it doesn’t work so it cannot kill an arrival @ignister for example

Thanks for the videos for players new to despia, it seems like a more fun alternative to the chimera builds I've been playing for a while. I have a question for a board idea that I had, where you build the deck to make double Masq + Rindgrum in grave as a backup plan after Branded fusion gets ashed. Do you have any advice for possible lines to end on that board without branded fusion? There must be some easy way between Quem and Cartesia.

3:30 Ah because Mirrorjades GY effect is, that you - the Branded player - can destroy all monsters of the opponent - even the ones that are uneffected. It's the same way Evenly Matched gets around that protection effect. Nice, thanks for these tips. (Maybe I just summoned Dragoon so often and Mirrorjade so rarely that I don't make use of its good effects that much.)

Mirrorjade's destruction happens at resolution and not on activations so thats why it gets around noir, this only works against cards that say "Against opponent's activated effects". Just wanted to clarify is all

So, does that mean, I can not get rid of an Ultimate Falcon and 2 Rising Rebellion Falcon (all "uneffected by other cards' effects") by just crashing a Mirrorjade into any of them, if I play against Raid Raptors? (I was already hoping for something secretly broken here.)

I dont understand the point with mirriorjade and noir when noir have more then 5 materials she is uneffektiv from monster effekts why she going than to the gravejard

Noir is uneffective by ACTIVATED effects, not continuous or lingering ones. That's why mirrorjade's destruction effect affects it

Noir is unnafected by opp ACTIVATED effects. Mirrorjade's destruction eff is not considered an activated eff, because it just "applies" during end phase.

Activated vs Applied. Activated means right there at that moment. Applied means the effect activated, didn’t interact with anything at the point of resolving, but will take effect and interact with something later on. Its like the move Future Sight from Pokemon. You cant see it coming so you can’t do anything to block the attack.
