They’re not inexpensive but they’re so very versatile. Thank you for the pro tips that I hadn’t thought of, like embossing, sanding and waxing the textured areas!

They are on the expensive side, but it's amazing what you can do with just one of them! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

I didn't know rubbing alcohol would clean off the rubbing wax. I have tried this technique numerous times and never am happy with my embossed raised areas. I seem to get too much down onto the lower card areas and not enough on the raised. I look forward to trying the glove action that might help me out. I went crazy a few years ago watching several youtubes using them and bought like 5 colors. But there they are stored away in a dark drawer looking so sad. I have metallic blues and greens and pinks not just classic silver and gold and copper. So happy to be reminded to dig those out and see what they can do. Nice to know I can clean up with alcohol. I keep hand sanitizer handy all the time too but have one of those pump jars for regular alcohol for helping clean off inks and stuff from my other tools and embossing folders when I ink them up too. Love all the ways to put these cards together using these waves for ombre back grounds. Not a fan of sanding and usually buy solid core colored papers. But may run through my collections and see if i have any to give those a try too. Thank you for sharing. Love all the people who are so generous with their time and talents.

Thanks for sharing! I stopped using tape runner a couple years ago, when I found that all the cards I’d made in the previous years, had completely fallen apart…all the layers! I used Mono tape runner, the permanent one in pink case, that refills were available for. I love Mono liquid glue (green lid), but I really, really dislike the Mono dot tape runner in the pink case. How embarrassing to realize that all cards I’d sent people for at least 5 or more years, fell apart! All the ones I had in my stash, done with that tape runner, also fell apart. So, it’s liquid glue or double-sided foam adhesive for me now!

Thanks for sharing this. I know tape runners don't tend to be as permanent, but I guess I assume most people don't keep the cards I send them. Maybe I need to rethink that!

For the heart you could draw one and cut it out using scissors. Hope that helps!
