as a child I wanted to weave, wished for a loom, which I got for Christmas. But I had no wool. After many weeks, or months, I could "get" wool from somewhere. When I was looking for the loom in vain, I asked my mother where it was. I threw it away, you never used it. Now, decades later, I have bought my granddaughter a loom. I have a lot of leftover wool because I knit a lot. She has so much fun with the loom she uses when she is with me. So I watched KZbinflime to learn more about it and saw your movie. It's a godsend what you show, I know I'll weave, weave, weave with my granddaughter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Im from India, and began weaving since May, 2022. Ive been weaving stoles, trying out different techniques and experimenting with colours, mainly with cotton yarn. Just started weaving wraps / shawls in wool. To finish my work Ive been knotting the edges into fringes and also hem stitching them. But haven't been happy with the technique of hem stitching. I just happened on this video and have found twining to be the firmest and best way to secure the edges of my woven pieces. I do not know how to thank you for this knowledge you have imparted. Thank u once again!

Great instructions 😀 Clear, plain language, camera close-up to the loom and stitches without hands blocking the project. Eons ago we were taught in elementary school how to make a cardboard loom for weaving with yarn, as well as a DYI loom from a block of thick styrofoam to weave beads using elastic ribbon as the base. So much fun. Have you added beads or other materials?

Oh my stars!!! Thank you for such detailed and articulate instructions! I’m so glad I found your channel! I’m an elementary art teacher and I am going to introduce weaving in the next couple of weeks. I’m excited and nervous at the same time. Hopefully I can give instructions as eloquently as you do so that my kiddos will pick it up easily. We are starting with the simple cardboard looms. Though not as professional, it’s a little more cost effective and hopefully they will work just fine. BTW, I just bought a few things off of your website and I’m so bummed that all of the looms I’m interested in are sold out! Will you be restocking soon? You’re the best!
