I love the crucifixion. Just gorgeous. I made one in a large Easter egg. I painted the background dark gray and white. We all know that the sky turned dark when he died. I made a mound of the brown Spanish moss and put the 3 crosses in. I cut a small bone in tune to back to hold a fake tea light so you could see it. It turned out very nice. My dad and mom loved it.

Why do you use paste while you're stenciling ? Can acrylic paint be used while stenciling? What is the difference between the two. Plz anyone help me understand. I'm new to crafting.thx in advanced

No you do not want to use acrylic paint when stenciling. It will clog the mesh and your image will not turn out. Also you will not be able to reuse the stencil. The chalk paste is specifically made to work with our stencils

I enjoy your crafts. I believe in Jesus as the Son of God. But why would you make or wear a cross, the instrument used to kill him. For example If my family member were to be killed by a gun or knife, I wouldn't put a charm of a gun or knife on a chain and wear it around my neck. I find it hard to believe that God would approve of it. Your a paster's wife can you explain this to me

The cross was the penalty that Jesus paid for me to be able to be in relationship with God again. My sins separated me from God. The fact that Jesus willingly went to the cross for me makes the cross a symbol of sacrificial love. Plus, when you pair the cross with the empty tomb, because he didn't stay dead, the two together are a symbol of victory over sin and death
