I had a NDE. When I was 15 I drowned in the ocean with my friend. The place we were in was rocky and I kept being swept down under the rocks which eventually lead into the open ocean. I remember people standing above the rocks, where there was this hole that overlooked into the passage me and my friend were swept into. One of them tried to throw down a small inflating boat. Then everything went black. Next thing I know, I see my parents in my room, my mom crying and heart broken, half the person she used to be and my dad trying to be tough for her but he himself looked as if he hadn't slept for ages. They were looking through my things and then found something I had which greatly disappointed them (I will omit what) but all I know is that I suddenly felt the strong urge to go back and stop this from happening. I didn't want to die and have them be disappointed in their only child. Next thing that's happening, I feel something that must have been hands, shoving me back from under the rocks and into that small area where the people could see me from the top. It is hard to explain but imagine that there is an underwater cave going to the open ocean and just on the top of the cave at some parts there are some holes looking down into it. Eventually I got rescued. What I still should mention, since it was a small cave, the only reason people knew to look for me was because I started screaming at the top of my lungs when I saw a man, a very beautiful man, looking at me from the entrance of the cave where we were both swept into it. Later on I realized the man could not have been real... or at least not human, since the only reason we were inside the cave was because of a water... I forgot the name, where the water begins to swirl and suck things into it. The point is, if the man stood there, he would be sucked in as well. Before I spotted him, me and my friend were too shocked to scream but the sight of him made me go back to reality and realize it's time to ask for help. My parents believe it was my grandpa looking out for me. I don't think so, since it was a young, beautiful man looking at me and I think it must have been my guardian angel. Although the hands that kept pushing me back... I do not know who they belonged to. My friend unfortunately passed, but it was very clear to the people there that I was dead... since I disappeared under the rocks and water for so long... anyway that was my long story. Good job if you read it all.

Bizzy inthemoshpit me too!! It's been 5yrs since my car accident that landed me in ICU for a week, fractured sternum, punctured lung, several broken ribs and, internal bleeding. I still hear metal crunching & glass busting from time to time til this day! I had been clinically dead for 2 minutes & I never saw shit! Didn't get any special abilities EXCEPT the ability to crack n pop at random! Although...I did feel an overwhelming sense of peacefulness briefly.

This literally happens this morning, I was on my way to music school when I speeding car comes from an intersection, my mother was driving and she sped up. It was a bit too late when the car hits us from the side. My mother was hurt a bit by the seat belt and my dad was fine, my sister hurt in the leg and I smashed my head through the window. I blacked out for 10 minutes. While I was out I could feel as if a woman was in the car with us. I woke up on the floor with my father calling an ambulance. The while I was on the stretcher my sister told me that she felt that a woman was with us. I could confirm that this was our gardian angel.

One of my favorite books of all time is "Proof of Heaven" by Dr. Eben Alexander. It's pretty hard to argue against the existence of an afterlife when a neurosurgeon, who knew that meningitis had shut down his cortex, not only survives, but tells a story of seeing hell, angels, and his deceased relatives.

The one where the woman felt like she had to push her self and woke up screaming… That sounded more like sleep paralysis… I get that very rarely but I have experienced it quite a few times… Mostly when I was a young adult in my late teens..Early 20s. I’ve heard that it’s or what’s happening is , energetically, you’re astrally traveling and You’re waking up before your spirit is back in your body. Astral travel… It’s pretty amazing

I had an NDE when I was 5. I have epilepsy, this was my first and my worst seizure. It was the middle of the night, I woke up in horrible pain with my arms and legs raised in the air and my chest feeling very tight. Then all my muscles began to jerk uncontrollably and I couldn't breath. Everything went dark and next thing I knew I was on my parents bed surrounded by paramedics with all sorts of medical equipment and oxygen being forced into my lungs. I had stopped breathing during the seizure as my chest muscles were very constrictive. As it was the middle of the night my parents were fast asleep and heard nothing. But fortunately for me my brother was awake, he heard me and raised the alarm. If it wasn't for him my body would have been deprived of oxygen for too long and I would be dead, or at least severely brain damaged. While I was gone I saw nothing, and I felt nothing. No god, no angels, no passed loved ones, nothing.

Nicole Silver you didn't die - you passed out, due to lack of oxygen - meanwhile the moment you were dying - like at max one minute before death - you would have saw something - as for these people im not sure - there is something beyond, because I remember something impossible, something before my birth.
@nicolelake5848

Princess Celestia I didn't just pass out, I was dying. My brain was literally dying, I wasn't breathing and my heart was severely constricted. I was temporarily paralysed after the seizure and had serious memory problems for most of my childhood. I was very fortunate to have been so young and my brain was able to repair itself overtime and compensate for the damage. I really can't and don't want to put a time stamp on it, but when they finally stopped my seizure and got me breathing again, I was less than 1 minute from death. I respect your beliefs, but it doesn't mean you have to belittle other peoples traumatic experiences. You're not my doctor and you weren't there.
@strawberrymilkshake90
@strawberrymilkshake90 7 жыл бұрын
Nicole Silver some of us don't have experiences - you must have been one of them. - you were dying I believe you but I also believe you didn't see anything - some see god themselves or they see nothing - it varies between people but its not a myth. - all I can say is keep an open mind - because some of us even return to a physical body without remembering anything, and no im not talking about you im saying in general.

I guess the place that (good) souls go after death is similar to those tourist attraction ads. They dont tell you everything... only the good things. Wait till you have to stay there permanently! ;-) I mean seeing the light and the dead loved ones etc. is fine but later when you pass the point of no return then you'll get hit with all the things that you should have done but didnt and all the things that you should not have done but did plus the big judgement day which separates better from good and bad from evil and then if you are a good soul, the training will begin. The training may include something similar to what catholics believe to be purgatory but it may take a very long time (over there may seem 1000s of earth years) How I know this? These things are in certain old n rare non-english books but I got this info from a dead friend in a vivid dream in which they gave me proof that I could check out and I did after awaking and it did check out right. so dont think you can be an atheist and get away with it. Most ppl see the light and many disbelievers become ashamed with endless regrets. (At least)If you believe in 1 God/Creator then things will be a lot easier.
@kdjoshi726
@kdjoshi726 Жыл бұрын
Interestingly, there's a Japanese manga series called Inari Kon Kon, Koi Oroha which mentions of a similar "training" for those good souls who make up to heaven. Tho that training is referred to as being the "new god" type, it is basically your judgement. Or so it mentions. In it, the MC's boyfriend sees his dead father up there, working as a kinda "protector" who lead these souls to the path of training. Again it's just a work of fiction but it mentions this so-called training you speak of

While I can't fully say it was a near death experience, if things had happened just moments sooner, it really could have been. At the time, our pharmacy was inside the grocery store we preferred. My mom got it in her head that we just HAD to go grocery shopping and to pick up a refill at that very moment. I did everything but beg her to wait until the following day as I had a terrible feeling that we shouldn't leave the house. I even pointed out that it had just begun a light rain because we didn't like going out under those conditions given the crappy driving skills of people in our area in perfect weather. She insisted we wouldn't be gone long, so the two of us got into our small truck and headed out. We'd barely made it a mile and a half from home when we were stopped at a red light, waiting to turn right. The cross traffic had literally just cleared, not even giving mom time to remove her foot from the brake pedal, when this full sized van plowed into the back of our truck! We were knocked completely into the intersection from the force of the impact. Had traffic not cleared a moment earlier, we'd have been t-boned by multiple cars. As it was, we were able to park in the lot of a pawn shop on the corner in order to clear the roadway. The jackass who plowed into a truck sitting at a red light proceeded to curse US for the wreck!!! As he's screaming and threatening us, and my faith in humanity is reaching an all time low, several people who had witnessed the wreck ran over and proceeded to protect us from the nut job! So, I experienced the worst and best of humanity within seconds. It was almost life affirming. I should mention that the nut job also screamed at the police, so I was pretty sure he was either drunk or high. No big surprise that he didn't have insurance. Ours had to pay for the repairs. Ugh!

I tend to dislike near death experience stories because they always sound like people being extremely lucky and then believing that because of that it was a supernatural event. Like the first story where they felt like they could move objects with their mind despite never wanting to go to the press with the amazing ability of telekinesis and becoming a millionaire with it. I get that it sounds unreal but that doesn't mean it was magic.

DeadYorick telekinesis is not a supernatural ability - there is a way for the brain to play with forces but its sooo out of reach people believe its magic they also believe its a myth - somethings just cannot be explained but humanity is determined to because they want to deny its existence - like they deny the existence of god because they cannot explain or prove anything. - this does not also mean I believe in god - what im saying is theres no big red line between what you think is fiction and reality - its a fine line and sooner or later science wont be able to prove anything, sounds cheezy but true - all the advice I can give you is keep an open mind.
@DeadYorick
@DeadYorick 7 жыл бұрын
Princess Celestia Being able to move physical objects with your mind is a supernatural ability. If someone is able to do it, they can apply for several different skeptical challenges. I remember the James Randi foundation even offered 1 million dollars to anyone who can prove they have a supernatural ability and none of the thousands of people passed scrutiny.

Interesting stories to be sure, and a wonderful job narrating them. BUT, they all started like I'd expect stories like these to start, but then they all seem to take a strange turn to a more farfetched theme. Now, now, I wont go so far and say "This can't happen." As no one can know, at least not right now. The world is ful of mysteries and these are some of them. But with the sudden psychic abilities, posters of god and astral forms and jelly hands. I can't help but have a hard time believing it. I suppose the phrase "Seeing is believing" is rather relevant to all this. But as these individuals say all this happen, what more can I do then respect it and wait for my own mystical experiences... or well, the next one to be more accurate.

As interesting as NDEs are, it is common to hallucinate when bodily functions begin to shut down. Between the flood of endorphins, neurological malfunction and neuron misfires, there is a lot that can be observes in your unconscious state.

Hearing people after said death or seeing people from a different view point isn’t explainable through hallucinations. That’s a load of bull that comes from atheist sense it goes against what they believe. Oddly enough every atheist says that it’s hallucination if they can’t explain it with the broken logic they use.

I am really having a hard time dealing with this garbage. Any little thing a Christian has happen to them is God coming to them, so I'm bailing on this garbage. Thanks anyway. I've heard these stories before, bye. I am very disappointed in the same old Christian rhetoric. Take your dogma and shove it! Thanks.

Angela M Ricks I never heard him say one word about Christianity. You’re just triggered because you know deep down you’re lost and on the wrong path.
