Hi Amritha ! I saw bad reviews of delayed delivery of David Austin roses. What is your opinion on buying David Austin roses from their website?

I bought 3 roses last year from them and had no issues with the delivery. Some of my family and friends bought roses this year and they’ve already received the orders and one of them got the first flower on the rose already. So personally, I haven’t had an issue with the delivery yet.

How I can tell if I have a climbing rose?

It should grow these long branches or canes on it. The canes look different than the shrub branches.

I had a terrible experience with ordering DA bare roots roses from the US website. I placed two orders last November, one shipment arrived yesterday after my several phone calls and emails, but they were dry and with black stems, basically dead. The second shipment still not arriving…. Awful

That sounds absolutely awful. I am so sorry you had to go through that. I am surprised that customer service gave you such a difficult time as I have found them really helpful in the past. Not just regarding my orders but also if I have any questions or concerns about rose care. I am not sure if they still provide it but DA used to give a 5 year warranty on the plants. So if yours were delivered damaged, I would suggest asking them for a replacement or refund. Hope you get your second shipment soon and it is healthy.

In india we hardly get DA roses ... I have a few which I purchased online. But we struggle to find exact I'd . & Yes do give a Try to Emily Bronte very beautiful rose with combination of apricot pink very beautiful rose. I have seen it on KZbin , few youtubers have
